Let me just say something before I start rambling off. I love my country and I am not bitter of what happened to me in the military. I am 50% disabled because of it, and getting compensated for what was done to me, and hopefully, I pray that I will get a better rating. I want to become a Foreign Service Specialist in the future! I am proud to be an American!!!

I was stationed at HAAF in Savannah, Ga. I was raped by one guy in my company and assaulted by this other guy while there. My first sgt. was first sgt. Gibbs, my capt. was Charles Bledsoe. They let it happen and nothing was done.

I pray for these people every night, because I don't see how they let it go on and did nothing. Everyone knew that they were playing mind games with me to try to get me kicked out!

I never did anything to these people. I just wanted to serve my country. I wasn't crazy until all that stuff happened to me. I never liked these guys, but they liked me. I don't even date BLACK guys, so I don't know what made them think I would just sleep with him! I wont let a BLACK guy touch me. Now, if it had happened to their(chain-of-command) daughters then I bet they would have done something. I do not hold a grude and have forgiven these guys for what they have done. I hope that they see what they did was wrong one day and I hope that they find an altar and have God forgive them. I am not going to be the one that judges them. God will be!

I think he meant good ole boys as in they stand by each other no matter what wrong was done. It has nothing to do with the men being black. I missed the part where she said she was drunk or even drinking. Women in the military HAVE gotten raped even while WORKING. It is serious but in some cases it does get ignored. While there are women who make false allegations, doing so in the military would usually mean having to put up with even more difficulties by men like HUNTER, above. I have no doubt that no matter if her allegations are true or false, he and his buddies are now making life hell for her. So really thanks for the sensitive and pointless comments you have made. Why did you even bother? All women should really rethink thier drinking habits... because if we do get raped "well, you know...." Thanks for that lesson Jane. You have been very helpful to women all over!

lmao, SINCE WHEN were black men considered to be "GOOD OLE BOYS"? Anywhoo, that aside, rape is a very serious allegation and I highly doubt that your chain of command would have looked the other way if it had happened as you say. Yes, I get it that if you were drunk and you said no and that is still rape....BUT well, you know.... alas, all is not lost I bet your drinking habits have changed considerably since then.

I do not know your circumstances nor do I know you. I take at face value what you claim happened and I hope that you get justice. I have been in the military for 20 plus years. It irritates me that a command will either look the other way at a serious problem. It also irritates me that good people are trumped up on BS charges and processed out of the service just because someone doesn't like them. I have seen both sides many times. In the real world there would be one hell of a lawsuit in addition to people being prosecuted and sent to prison. The good-old-boys network is alive and well in the military. Don't let these clowns push you around. Just remember that most of the bozo's at the top are there because they can kiss a*s better than anyone else.

I know who you are, and you're a liar. thats ALL I have to say. NOTHING HAPENED THAT WAS ILLEGAL. If a guy doesn't use a condom, shouldn't sperm be present? this chic is pissed off because she didn't get her way and was trying to get back at the persons responsible.

I have not served in the military, but I DO know from friends and family that these things do happen. I don't condone what these men did to you and I will pray for you to get throught this time in your life. However, all black guys are not bad people. I am a caucasian woman, and I date a black man, and I also have a bi-racial son. There are bad black men just like there are bad white, hispanic, etc. men....and then there are good black men just as the good white, hispanic, etc. men. You shouldn't be judging by skin color. I am living proof along with many more individuals out there who would say the same. I will continue to pray for you through your difficult time.

I was also in the military. I know full well that harrassment happens. Prayer is a wonderful tool. Do not let this expeience cloud your judgement or have you become parinoid w/ regard to black men. I am an African American female. Your deep disdain and attitude shows through in thus letter. I will continue to pray for you and hope that you are seeking counseling. This however is not a ripoff as you are not for sale.
