Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I went to work for this company on June 8th 2015. I leased a 2015 International Lonestar. I was asked by the company where I liked to run and I told the west coast. At first I liked the company plenty of miles and lighter loads.  I knew the Lonestar was a heavy truck. In December I had a problem getting out after Christmas and my truck being so heavy was most of the problem so I contacted Quality Companies and they found me a 2016 KW T680.  I picked the truck up on March 4, 2016. It needed a left side Skirt and some other problems occured which KW took care of with no problems.

The payments were suppose to start on March 14, 2016 on the KW  I talked to Ben Cannon in payroll and he told me that Quality had not sent him anything on the truck as to how much it was.  So ok, each week went by and nothing taken out for the truck.  Finally Ben Cannon quit HVH.

Now I was told that if you mailed your paperwork in before Monday and it was post marked before Monday you would get paid for it that week.  I mailed in 3 loads at Kent Washington at the U.S. Post office and it was post marked right in front of me. Two weeks later I got paid for the loads. I went home and mailed in another load and three week later I got paid for the load.  This is where it gets interesting. I had been having trouble with payroll for several months over charging me and not paying me for load I had done. Ben Cannon would not talk to me so I had to have my wife call him. From December 2015 until May 2016 My wife had to call payroll every week.

In May 2016 I quit HVH and went to Western Express only to find out after 2 days of orientation I could not transferr companies because my truck was over $5000 in the rears. I talked to Quality companies to find out what happened. They told me that they had not received a payment on the truck to date.  So I went back to HVH and I ask them what happened to the money they were taking out of my check.  I guess I stirred up a nest egg.  I was dispatched on a load to go from my home to pick up an empty trailer in McPherson, KS then go to Oklahoma City and relay a load to Denver, CO which I did. Then I sat for 3 days for the holidays. The I was dispatched on a load that went to Normal, IL that delivered on Friday 3 days to go from Denver,CO to Normal, IL.  My dispatcher called and asked me if I would go to Chicago,IL and pick up a load back to Denver I said no send me to Chilicothe,IL or Richmond,IN he said he would see what he could do. Dispatch called the next day and asked me if I would take the load from Chicago, IL I said no this is not a forced dispatch company. He said he would see what he could do. I called in on Friday after I was unloaded and dispatch asked me if I was on my way to Chicago,IL I said no. He said he would see what he could do, I said I would go to a truck stop at Bloomington,IL.  At 2 o'clock pm I get a call from my dispatcher (DM) and he ask if I was turning the Chicago load down I said yes.  At 2:04 I get a phone call from Greg Selvage asking me why I was turning down freight I said I am not he stated I had to take the Chicago load I said this is not a forced dispatch company. He said that when I came back one of the conditions was I would take any load they wanted me too.  I stated who made that agreement not me. I said its after 2:00 pm and by the time I would get there it would be rush hour traffic.  I said no thanks. I thought the conversation was done and hung up. About 2 minutes went by and Greg Selvage called back and stated I am canceling your lease with us send my plates and hung up on me. I had to drop the trailer so I called my dispatcher and aske where he wanted the trailer dropped. He wanted me to take it to Chicago and I told him no. I ended up taking it to Chilicothe,IL. When I got there there were 4 loaded trailers waiting to be picked up. HVH has been losing several companies they get loads from and they are hiring all the time and guy who lease have to pay around $800 a week in truck payments. Like I said I started June 8, 2015 Until June 3, 2016 Never had a late load always on time and no tickets. I have been a driver for more than 40 years and I have never been terminated from a job in my life until now.  So now its your decission as to what you do with this company.  My advise is to stay away if you want to keep your driving record clean.
