THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCAM EVER!!! "Free" is not free from Hydroderm. They shipped my first "order" before the 14 days were up. I tried to cancel online. Are they kidding??? I got looped around and around back to their homepage everytime. I called their "customer service" number; hung on for (no kidding) 40 minutes only to be disconnected. Tried again the next day -- same thing.
Called the referenced number that appeared on my credit card statement next to the entry "Hydroderm" and the operated reported that that number was out of order. I became very suspicious by this time. Called my credit card company and filed a dispute. Tried making contact with Hydroderm online again a few days later and actually got through to their "cancellation" page where I was asked if I was "sure" if I wanted to cancel. YES! "Was it the money" was one of the options I had to choose from in order to proceed; so I chose, it was the money. They offered me "a deal" of "How about $32.99 a month; would that be fair?" NO! All I wanted was OUT.
I followed their convoluted instructions to return the product -- ignoring the threat that I would not be able to get a refund if I made a dispute with my credit card company (who do these people think they are anyway???). It cost me 15 to send it back (I got a signed receipt from Hydroderm so I could proved that they received it) but it was worth it. It only took them about two months to credit my account.
TWO LESSONS LEARNED:
1. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING ONLINE AGAIN THAT REQUIRED GIVING OUT A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD NUMBER.
2. I'VE TRIED CONTACTING YAHOO TO REPORT HYDRODERM AND GOT NOWHERE WITH THEM. SO I'VE INFORMED THEM AND SUGGEST THAT YOU BOYCOTT ANY AND ALL ADVERTISERS ON YAHOO.COM
HYDRODEM IS A HUGE SCAM -- it's a shame because quite frankly, the product isn't bad; their marketing, however, is shameless and yahoo is spineless.
