I received spam like emails for the longest from hydroderm, since I am interested in certain products like this I can only assume they stole my information to begin with, but I am a grown up and I can press the delete button. Well, the email I got and the introduction if you go to hydroderm.com are very different. I consider myself cautious enough and I have had problems like this before and I am just unhappy that I did not check with rip off reports to begin with, I know better.

I read the email and it said FREE for the age defying anti wrinkle cream and it made it sound like you pay the shipping and handling for the first free product shipment and if you do not like it cancel, but if you do like it, then do nothing and you will be charged every 60 days. Well, even though the charge is over 50 dollars that was fine with me, I put this on my debit card, so I did read and re-read the email ad and I felt this was a reputable co. and so I went ahead and filled out the information. I got the shipment pretty quickly, but I always check my checking account balance, withdrawals etc. on line so I started thinking, when exactly will they bill me if I decide to keep this, let me make sure. Well I called the 800 # and waited and waited but that happens with many customer service no. like my bank for instance, so I got a rep finally and told them my info and asked when I would be billed. They tell me for over 50 dollars in a week and then again in a few weeks. I said what are you talking about? (That's over $100 where I went to school)

As I said how can it be free if I'm being charged and then you say you ship every 60 days and you are billing me twice in a 20 day span? The rep got very beligerent with me, you are not understanding, you are not listening mam this and that like I was supposed to know all of this. Well I was looking at the ad on online as we spoke but it's not the same ad.

The ad they show states " want to try hydroderm for free," real large but you cannot even make the computer copy and paste this but here's what the on line ad says to the general public, my ad I opened from my email box was somewhat different.

"You'll get a fresh, two-month supply of the formula and have the chance to try it out for free, click here!

Take 30 days to see how Hydroderm works for you

Only pay S/H

Continue to get Hydroderm at a special discount price

If not satisfied, easy to cancel Hydroderm is regularly priced at $79. Try it free with this special offer. Lose the wrinkles today! then......Click here to try Hydroderm FREE* for 30 days!

But to me, this is telling the person reading this , free, only shipping and handling. Then they continue to get hydroderm at a special discount rate. Well, it's double talk, if they were upfront and honest they would say , try hydroderm at a special discount rate for 30 dys. risk free and if you decide to keep it , you will be billed . But obviously they just use double talk and deception.

So, I asked to speak to a supervisor and eventually got one, and he said indeed I would be charged unless I send back the used portion, which I got a RMA #, and I have to pay to ship it back and then when they sent the rules to do so, they say must send original shipping receipt which I did not save nor was told to on the package, I asked if they would send me a package and return slip and he said no. I said to cancel my order and he said send the bottle back. I told him I was going to file a report on him, and then called my bank. They were sympathetic because they too have had things like this happen to them, they are people too, and said all I can do is cancel my debit card and get a new one. Yeh, it's a bother but if I had used my checking account routing and all, "pay by check" it would have been the entire account I had to cancel.

I do have to alert some automatic billing of the change, but as of right now I am not being charged by the co. but if my bank doesn't hurry up with the card, I can be, because I requested my old card stay active until I can get the new card. Somehow I don't think hydroderm will speed up the charge, because I told the supervisor for hydroderm (his name is Rick or so he said) that he knows fully well the ad was deceptive and false and not anywhere on earth does it say you will be charged the discounted price over 50 bucks for the "free product." It's certainly not free. There's a huge law suit just for saying free. Cuz really with shipping and handling, that's not free. He said well you are canceled anyway, like so what, case dismissed, snap. I again requested a return address label and container and he let me know that wasn't happening.

I read that email so thoroughly , cuz that debit card I paid with pays my house rent, bills, etc. But honest, if I had just looked at rip off reports, I would have been alerted by great consumers on here, and saved myself the grief. Oh and that anti aging stuff, it has amniotic fluid, isn't that human?

Hydroderm deceptive advertising, unauthorized bill rip off update

I had to have my debit card cancelled and got another one. Oh well, it could have been worse, they did not debit my account. I sent an ad to rip-off reports more like the deceptive one I got, that got me in hot water to begin with. I am not angry because I did not get burnt this time, but I want to make a comment about the co. I used the Hydroderm and honestly I am 52 yrs. of age and do have some lines (thankfully wrinkles are not painful) but it made my lines deeper and more noticeable, honest . So, before I sent the tiny bottle back (normally $80) I let a friend try it and she said that she felt it drawing her skin and then she felt all hot and felt an allergic type reaction. She said get rid of it!!!!
