Independent Contractor's Service/BrandiFeist Rip off the delivery of a magazine Delray Beach, Florida
I was approached by a young lady who said she was working to get her self through school, She was approachable, nicely dressed and said she was living with her grandmother because she was new in the area. She said she only needed one more person to get her "quota" today so she could get enough credit for her school. I wrote a check and wished her the best in the future, hoping to get my magazine. never showed up..

This is the mother-in-law of (((child's name redacted))) and mother of (((child's name redacted))), two employees of Idependent Contractors Service based in Delray Beach, FL. Just as a FYI, the company these two kids were "working for" was not only a scam to YOU, it was ascam to THEM. They were not paid as empoyees, they were NOT allowed to own or use a phone, have any money or contact with the outside world. This company was in all intents and purposes a CULT. They lured young kids with the promise of "a paid adventure". The only thing that was adventurous was the non-stop traveling, sharing a double size bed with 3 other people and having to beg people for $25 for a magazine so they would get food.
I finally got my son back after 3 years. During which time my grandmother passed in August 2012 and my daughter passed in November 2012. Numeruos phone calls to the "owner" of the company regarding the family emergency were blown off and I did not hear from him for MONTHS after. Finally calling every contact I could find and contacting the FBI finally got the fake a*s company to drop my son off at a bus station in El Passo, Texas with NO money and no where to go.
Please don't blame these kids, they were merely trying to navigate their way through a rough situation with a company that used the kids a slave laborers. In fact, if you should ever come across another one, make them come inside and IN FRONT OF YOU, call their parents to make sure they are o.k.
Sorry for the lengthy response, just wanted to let you know, it is not the kids, it is the irresponible adults who maliously used young people to further their own bank accounts, leaving these kids eating from dumpster if they didn't get their sales.
