My mother bought me the "Total 3D Home & Landscape (Deluxe Suite)" software package as a gift in November 2006. Upon the first attempts to install the software, I became discouraged as the software would not install at all.
I wasn't too upset just yet because throughout the instructional manual and on the box itself, technical support was "guaranteed". Well, I called several days in a row and was never able to reach anyone. Finally, I gave up with the phone number and found an e-mail address on their website.
I e-mailed them and waited several more days before some guy named Matt responded. From the beginning, his e-mails were very condescending as if I had done something to make his exceptional product defective.
We exchanged several e-mails back and forth but none of his "expert" advice could fix the problem. He even eventually called me and tried to walk me through the installation process (the whole time being very rude and short with me).
Finally, he said he would send me a replacement disk. Two weeks later, I received the new disk and guess what! It doesn't work either. I've had it! Your product should work and if it doesn't, the customer shouldn't be treated as if he or she has done something wrong. Be careful when purchasing software from these companies.
