In response to "Samantha", I'd like to say that you sound like a shill for Industry Model Talent Studios. The complaint made by Monleen sounds reasonable, yet you try to discount her concerns by saying that you didn't have any problems with them. Good for you! Monleen had second thoughts, and wanted her money back. What's wrong with that? I think that Monleen came to realize that "Industry Model Talent Studios" was nothing more than a racket! They have a website (http://www.industrystudio.com/), but there is nothing on it except a graphic reading "coming soon". A legitimate company? I think not! If you want the lowdown on this company, check out this website for more information: easybackgroundcheck.com/industrymodelsandtalentstudio.html Good luck, Monleen. I hope that you get all of your money back!

I would like to say something positive about Industry Model and Talent Studios: They never claimed to be an agency. They never guaranteed any work. There was no guarantee that I would be called back from an agent or manager. They offer a great service of providing tools in order to break into the industry. Any average person who has ever tried to break into modeling or acting knows they need exposure, pictures, etc. Industry Model and Talent Studios is a one-stop-shop to help support the beginning of a modeling or acting career. When I first started to try modeling, I thought I would be 'discovered'. After trudging around to open calls with 100 other candidates i realized I just don't have time to 'be discovered'; it's like winning the lottery. Imagine dropping out of school and not working because you thought you'd win the lottery. Not very realistic is it? That's what I thought...so...I decided to work for it. I figured- I would get some pictures done so I could market myself easier. So, I went to expensive free lance photographers and other shady people that took my pictures for a small fee or sometimes free...but i always had to pay for the prints and I never got to keep the negatives! Not to mention, after I got the bland and very expensive 'kinkos' cards and head shots, I STILL had to mail and go 'door to door' with them! All the leg work was on me! This was over and over again...a grueling process... I heard of Industry and WOW...I thought, I can do it all in one day??? hehe...made sense to me! Industry Studios allowed me to obtain great marketing tools that met industry standards for exposure. They also do most of the leg work so I can continue my career as an RN. Industry Model and Talent Studios helped me. There was never a question as to what services I was getting. They were clear about what they did and all of their policies. The 3 or 4 people complaining are the loud minority. The quiet majority of people are satisfied or realize...hey...sometimes you try and it doesn't work out and they move on. Kind of like college for some people.
