I am sad to say that I worked for this terrible company, but thankfully for only 2 days. I was hired as an "inside sales rep." It was funny because I got hired on the spot after my interview. They do not care about your background or anything else. I think they hire anyone that comes in for an interview.
There are so many things I can talk about so I will just start with training. Train lasted for aabout a day and a half before going to the Inside Sales Rep room to get a montor. Training, I believe, was a complete lie. Jerry was our trainer. I should first point out that they said no seeling would be involved, just appointment setting. That was a lie. In the Inside Sales Rep room there is a big sign that says "WE NEVER STOP SELLING."
--- said he used to be president of GE Finance and talked about getting around New York in a helicopter. He said he started out at IPA as an Inside Sales Rep. I highly doubt this because why would he leave that job which probably paid in the upper 6 figures, if not 7 figures, for a job that has an average salary of 78-92 thousand. The reason it is between 78 and 92 is because everyone said a different number that talked to us. they start 78 and eventually get to 92 to try and get you to stay there for the money. But it is not worth it.
In the Inside Sales Room is constant yelling, cursing and chaos. Sales Reps curse and yell at clients who do not cooperate. I even heard one Rep make a derogetory comment to a client because he was a Jew.
There was even a guy who was in his wecond week with his mentor. He made 3 sales his first day with his mentor but had not made any since. So in order to make money he sold prescription drugs to other employees that he stole from his previous employer.
My first day in the Sales room was an unpleasant experience. There were poeple on my call list who have already been contacted and wanted nothing to do with IPA. Why are those people still on the call list? they do not know h*e to run business there.
I highly recommed if you read this you do not do business at IPA or work there. If you currently work there GET OUT!!!!!
