Sellers are not responding to my messages. Several have bounced back as invalid addresses. Paid for 3M in Runescape money to be downloaded to account 3 days ago. Nowhere on their website does it state that you authorize permission for them to go into your account and play the game to attempt to WIN you your money. Gamer had been on account since Friday 1730 CST US, finally got off this morning after not only LOSING my son's 300K and all his armor, got him killed, and of course, NO 3M for which we paid. To make matters worse, PayPal is protecting their client's (not me, the gamers) identity. Corporate HQ consumer rep. refused to release any contact info., or even tell me which country their LLC is registered. Have filed dispute with PayPal -- will see what happens. PayPal is not looking to squeaky clean, either.

RS2Happy DBA Internet Gamestock, Eurasia; Supposed refund en route via wire transfer; bank investigates but no refund yet (after 3 days)

An anonymous representative of RS2Happy was quick to inform PayPal they were refunding my money, after I let them know that I had discovery of their insidious trend of stealing money from children. Of course, they failed to mention to PayPal that they abused access rights to my son's rs account, and got him banned from the game for various offences. PayPal (in San Jose, CA, USA) claims Internet Gamestock (aka RS2Happy.com) has refunded my money. They say it is in an "electronic queue" that my bank should be able to verify -- of course, my bank does not show any such refund in the system. Certainly, there are several lessons here. Firstly, we were unaware that purchasing rs gold was illegal. Got it now. Secondly, do your homework, friends, before purchasing goods online, especially if you are unfamiliar with the company's reputation and company is off-continent from where you reside. Be very suspicious if they do not provide a physical address, and several customer service phone numbers and email addresses with specific names. Lastly, BE WARY of entrusting your business with PayPal: their primary loyalty is with the merchant that pays their service fees. If push comes to shove, they will only act as mediators in a dispute. And FYI, when they allow you to "blog" as a means of effecting a resolution with your vendor, make sure to PRINT conversations as they transpire. PayPal reserves the right to close your dispute when THEY deem fit, which may not necessarily be when you decide you are satisfied. And once they close your dispute, all cyber conversation with the offender is inaccessible without subpoena. More specifically, PayPal closed my dispute because Internet Gamestock told them they were refunding my money. If I do not receive my refund, I cannot have the claim revisited. Therefore, I have no recourse within the PayPal system if my funds are not received. Since none of the behaviors displayed by RS2Happy resemble legitimacy, I'm not holding my breath on that refund.
