Jack Murray - Dream Illusions Desings By Jack Murray Unable to deliver as promised. Could not fix the situaration after many attempts - poor costumer services and props Indianapolis Indiana
Jack Murray illusion builder and desinger has some issues with his business. I post this as a warning:
The story:
"Purchased the original Konundrum Kube from him, and have been performing it ever since. It is pretty much my favorite illusion.
Recently, I decided to have Jack make a metal tube to replace the wooden one, because climate changes caused it to have swelling issues. All of the Konundrum Kubes and tubes that have been built since mine have been made of aluminum, so I didn't really see it as a big deal. I sent Jack the original tube so that he could make me an aluminum version of it.
To make a long story short, he sent me an aluminum tube which was not the right size specifications, and did not fit right in my Konundrum Kube. I was willing to overlook this when he finally apologized and said he would build me another one, but when I received the second tube, it was ALSO completely wrong. Throughout the whole process I received a lot of unprofessional emails from Jack, all of which I still have. I finally decided to forget about the whole thing and just have him send back my original wooden tube. (I figured I would just deal with the swelling issues, at least it was a working tube!)
When I recieved it, however, my tube was BROKEN beyond repair in what can hardly be called a box. The Post Office also would not accept a claim because of how poorly the tube was packaged. When I contacted Jack, he dismissed it saying it wasn't his problem. His only offer of a fix was to try to make one of the previous metal tubes work.
Am I the only one who has been treated this way? I just always thought that Jack cared more than this. I wasn't planning on putting this story here.... but the last incident with my original tube has pushed me over the edge. Again, this is a REALLY brief version of the story, and I have pictures of all three tubes, and copies of all the e-mails between myself and Jack, which I am willing to show anyone who wants to see. "
