Jamie and David Wing Happy Paws Dashshunds Secret Valley Dashshunds First of all, she groomed me real good. Kept me on the phone for over an hour the first time I talked to her. Wanted $400 deposit for the puppy that was supposed to be ready July 2. Stanwood WA
I was not comfortable with how she wanted to exchange money. Eventually I told her we would come up to her home and see the puppy and give her the deposit in cash. She told me the puppy was newborn, whatever that was supposed to mean...If the puppy would be ready July 2, those dates would not add up. She was evasive, not forthcoming, lied and almost scammed me. Really wasted my time. I just lost a dog and was really heartbroken. Coincidence? Her website went down the same day we parted ways...
Everything about my dealings with Jamie was shady and elusive. I had no problems with the fee she charged, but I was not familiar with the method in which she wanted me to pay. I offered to transfer funds directly into her account, send a cashier's check, methods I was familair with. Her methods were Walmart money grams or some pay website I have never seen before. I finally told her I was going to come directly to her and see my puppy and pay her in cash for the deposit. She would NOT have it. She told me the puppy was a newborn. Lie. If it was to be 8 weeks old on July2, that doesn't even add up. She would never tell me her last name or where she lived. She told me Snohomish, finally. No real info did I ever get out of her. Sure, she showed me photos, but how do I know those are real or of my puppy. The only way I felt comfortable was a 4 hour drive north. I finally lost it with her and told her stop texting me and I reported her unprofessional, unethical and probably illegal actions. I didn't lose any money this time, but she totally wasted my time and got me extremely excited for a new fur family member in a forever home. What a piece of work!
