I checked out the reports of WFAA doing news exposes' on Jason Breakey, which is true.
This guy is a total scumbag. He posed as a Christian Singles dating organization and had multiple complaints about services not rendered, lack of members and inability to contact the company.
WFAA TV did several news exposes on Jason Breakey. Attached is a picture of Mr. Breakey - he is the rotund, diminutive guy with the sunglasses on being exposed by Tracy Harris on WFAA Television news.

If my children are attending a school where one of the parents is a known felon, I certainly would not want my kids staying at their house, especially in light of the history of Jason Breakey.
I do not choose my children's friends, but I would not expose my children to parents with a known history of the significant civil and criminal charges that have been shown on this and other sites. If this guy has been found guilty of possession of drugs and guns multiple times, no thanks.
Perhaps some parents are ok with their children being exposed to someone with such a history - my parenting proferences are not to associate nor have my children associate with such people.
It is unfortunate that Jason Breakey's children have such role models in their life and it certainly sets the stage for a life of challenges.
Such history would likely be of concern not only to school officials and parents, but any other activities they may be associated with. Groups such as the YMCA, Scouting Groups such as the Boy and Girl Scouts of America, etc. typically run background checks and do not want such people affiliated with their groups.
If parenting concerns and exlusion by groups such as the YMCA and Scouts is considered elitist, then the author of the previous rebuttal has different values than what most parents I know have.

Ok, so assuming all of that is correct, what is the motive behind your posting of this information?
To get this information out there is one thing. I have no problem with that. But it seems like you're more interested in pointing out that certain of your childrens' classmates have parents with criminal records.
Why are his children any less deserving of the same education your kids are getting?
And what kind of hyper-elitist school is this? Is it the norm for parents to feel such a sense of entitlement that they can pick and choose their childrens' classmates?
Maybe I've got this all wrong, but it sounds like you really need to get over yourself, mind your own business, and leave this guy's kids out of it.

UNBELIEVABLE: I've heard rumors of Jason's background through other parents at Shelton School in Dallas, where our kids also attend school with Jason's son - Cooper.
My children are not allowed to socialize in any form with the Breakey's. My husband and I have determined that the head Administrator at Shelton is aware of Jason's background, as is the rest of the staff. I have asked the school why legal background checks are not performed on parents prior to acceptance, which appears to be one change under consideration at the school.
Regardless, if anyone has any direct experience with the Breakey's, several parents at Shelton would like to know. Anyone that is carrying a gun and drugs must be a drug dealer.
My kids will not be exposed to such a sick and distrubed drug addict. The link to this article has been shared with every Shelton family I know to let them know who their kids may be exposed to.
