JBL Real Estate is a Fells Point Real Estate and Property "so called" Management company that does nothing more than ride the shirt tales of the bigger players in the Baltimore area.  There deceptive practices has led to many questionable ethics violation in the Baltimore City and surrounding areas.  Jeremy Landsman, managing partner and owner fails to pay his contractors for work completed, and always has a way of "lowballing" work done.

Not to mention if you are going to go into business with them or ever look at a property they have for sale, realize the poor workmanship of there projects due to them not paying their contractors and workers to complete projects.  Jeff Landsman, another managing partner and owner, also has a tendancy in the Baltimore area to not complete projects and it is well known all over town for his inability to pay his bills and try to scam people into buying into their fantasy projects.  Just take a ride around town and see all of the so called projects that get started and are never completed.

A perfect example of a man that blows a lot of hot air around town just like his son.  Being a bookkeeper there for a few years, I have seen everything from angered contractors not getting paid, to companies such as architecture firms suing them for payment not made for services rendered,  to tenants that have had money not returned to them for deposits.  They have projects where utilities have been turned off, phones in office turned off for non payment, tenants suing them for lead issues...the lists go on and on.

I even have seen accounting firms and law firms suing them over income tax issues and lack of filings.  This is a company that I would stay far far away from when trying to deal in real estate.  This information is all public knowledge on the District Court of Md website.  I have since left this company due to the unethical behavior and the inhumane work conditions between father and son, but felt it was my duty to let others know what you would be getting into if you decided to do business with JBL REALESTATE and the Landsman Family.

It is funny you bring up the secretary at the front desk looks like he just got out of jail, because in fact HE DID.  He is a sex offender in Baltimore MD.  If you go on the sex offender registry, you will find Dennis Mally that is registered at JBL Real Estate and has had dealings with a child.  What a nice way to be greeted in the Real Estate office.  JBL putting their front foot forward.  I will make sure I tell everyone I know in Baltimore about these shady guys.  Believe me, being in the restaurant business, I KNOW a lot of people.

I would add that I have no idea about the inner workings of JBL Real Estate, but from a business individual dealing with them on a real estate transaction, I would also add that they are the worst group of individuals ever.  Their so called professional office is a smelly, dog fur filled, old, outdated office over in Fells Point that reminds me of a second rate, shady business operator.  The man at the front desk that greets you looks like a fruit loop that had just got out of jail.  The carpet in the place is about 100 years old and is filthy.  I had to use the bathroom and the place had a half functioning bathroom with NO HOT WATER.  The shady secretary at the front desk said the owners were " to Jewish to fix it, thus the name."  Well, with regards to the business transaction, I found a young man named Jeremy that acted more like a gangster or a used car salesman, than a professional broker.  The whole operation seemed like a joke.  I actually found this site after leaving their office to see if I could research them and am so glad I found this.  It is amazing what people say about them.  I would never contact them again after hearing from what seems a reliable source about this operation.  Anyways, just wanted to add my two cents and hope you would consider before dealing with this second rate, poor excuse for a real estate company.
