My boyfriend and I bought a bull dog from Jeff and Tonya Graham in Janurary of 2006. We researched several places and stumbled up on Pupsamillion.com. We called them right away to see if we could drive to see their kennel and of course they said no. At that point I was very hesitant, but they assured us the living conditions were great and that they were only following policy and procedures. A few days after we got our dog we took her to the vet and she checked out fine and we thought we had gotten a good quality puppy.
However, about 4 months later she begin to lose patches of hair and I knew imediately it was mange. We took her to her vet, and sure enough! She was diagnosed Demodetic Red Mange. We contacted Jeff and Tonya immediately and they said it was very common in English bulldogs and they there was nothing they could do. My boyfriend began to research this type of mange and we learned that it is hereditary and that we were sold a dog with out being disclosed this information. We have since then gotten opinions from two other local vetinarians and they agree with us. WE WERE SCREWED!
Me too. Mange, ear mites, and seizures. I fixed them all, and he's a healthy boy at this point, but it was expensive, and obviously due to negligent breeding.
