JK Harris & Company ripoff JK Harris Scams people for a living not helps them while taking monies! North Charleston South Carolina
On or about November 28, 2006 I went and talked to a Trish C. about my IRS tax issue. I explained to her that I already went on a payment plan with them for $250.00 a month but that would be still hard for me to pay. She informed me & my husband that she would be able to have us either get out of the owing or to my and my husbands understanding have us pay with taxes we would get back. She informed me to keep on the payment plan I setup with the IRS prior to meeting with her.
I then sent a letter to the IRS with my payment & explained to them that I could only afford $150.00 & explained to them on why. Then the IRS sent me a letter letting me know they will accept $100.00 a month. I informed my rep Tracy Lee. I also let Trish C. know because I was getting NO response from Tracey L. and was getting frustrated. We got a letter from Tracy explaining what we needed to send her.
I had a couple questions and emailed her. The response I received was the IRS needs 3 months worth of bills which I told her we didn't have due to use paying most of the bills on line and throwing out the statements. No response to that. ?? So I waited 3 months to get the statements accumulated & during that process I received another letter from Tracy L.stating that she has contacted us several times (which in fact has contacted us once with the first letter. After I emailed her first! She only responded to 2 emails then wouldn't respond anymore.) I have all the emails I have sent to her with responses. I did talk to a rep and her attitude was very upsetting to me. I explained to her the issue and her response was You should have read the contract before signing. I told her I did and Trish C.should have told me with the payment plan in place that was all you people would of done was setup a payment plan therefore there is NO reason to signup for this program.
I would NOT have signed if she couldn't do anything more for me. That would of be stupidity on my part don't ya think. I would have NEVER signed if I wasn't told more could be done until I get back to work. So on my end you people are in breech of the contract and I want my money back.
Another not living up to the contract. I was told that payment arrangements can be made by Trish C. again from in the ball park of $15 to $25 a month until I can get a job with having these agents talking to the charge card companies. I also signed up for the debit recovery system program and this appears to be going the way side as well.
At first I thought it was going great but then to my surprise I received a letter in the mail April 20, 2006 from a lawyer about my discover card. I had faxed a letter from discover last month to Scott S. and talked with him on the phone about calling them he told me he would. Apparently he didn't. I received a letter from a lawyer about discover. I faxed it to the new rep who took over Jeannemaris F. Apparently she claims she didn't receive it??
I had to fax it again. She emailed me when she got it and then called me and left me a message. I called her back and left her a message letting her know I was by the phone and to call me. In her message she stated that the only account she was authorized to work on was Sears. NOW I never heard of dealing with a debit recovery company where they only deal with one creditor at a time. I was told by Scott to send any notices to him. I would fax due to the mail apparently getting lost or they claim they didn't receive it. They said according to Again, you people have been taking $92.50 out of my account since January 2006 for doing nothing! AGAIN! Breech of contract.
If this problem doesn't get fixed I will be seeing a lawyer myself and filing against you people. This is just wrong and destroying peoples lives needs to be stop!! Total to be refunded will be $870.00.

Hey peeps who have been ripped off by JK Harris! It is so important that you file a complaint to the BBB & to you state Attonery's office. This will be the only way we can get them to stop hurting people. I did both and of course they are fighting me on it. To be expected. They are offering me $288.00 refund.. yeah right.. when I paid them 970.00 for them to do nothing. This company is the worst I've ever seen in my life. Is there anyone in Michigan that would be interested in filing a class action suite??
