Please perform a search on Juan Treminio or Chromabonito here or on google! Back in january, 2010, Made a deal w/ Juan to rechrome a set of bumpers. So, sent Juan money and my bumpers after his promises on his work ethic, quality of work, etc. Three months turned into 12 now. Excuse after excuse: 'there being plated now', 'plating came out poor so they are being replated', fake tracking numbers, etc. After threatening legal action, Juan sends me a poorly plated front bumper with cracks in the metal, peeling chrome, rust pits, etc. MY ORIGINAL BUMPER WAS SOLD AT A SWAP MEET MONTHS AGO BY JUAN!!!
Juan then agrees to return a set of core bumpers and a full refund after I have a lawyer send him a demand letter. That was three MONTHS ago. He sent $100 and a rear bumper back but now refuses to answer his phone.
Juan does most of his business at swap meets. He usually travels with members of his family in a WHITE VAN. The paypal account is under his wife/ mother named BERTA. He has taken MANY people involved in the car hobby. Please, do not make the same mistakes many of us have made in trusting and utilizing this lying theif.

Juan- you are a joke! The facts:
1. I sent you a very nice, rust/rot free front bumper and a rear bumper to rechrome for $646 + misc shipping in January, 2010. Claimed it would be 2-4 weeks.
2. Phone calls, emails, excuse after excuse.
3. Had to hire a LAWYER to send you CERTIFIED paperwork to return my parts in SEPTEMBER, 2010!
4. Sent me a damaged, thin plated, dented, non-polished front bumper with rust. Why? So Juan could file a claim against UPS and make MORE money off of this deal.
5. In October, FINALLY admitted my nice, ORIGINAL bumpers were 'accidentally sold'.
6. Lawyer had to send paperwork- again- certified.
7. in JANUARY, 2011, Juan sent a 'fair' replated rear bumper. It has a few issues and again, thin chrome (remember- Mexico).
8. Juan states 'I will pay you $100 per WEEK until I pay you your money back'.
9. NEVER sends a front bumper core and we agree on $200 for the core. Still January, 2011.
10. Juan sends $100/ month and I have to call him 3-4x/week and leave messages every time I call.
11. It is now AUGUST 27, 2011 and Juan still owes me $100!!!!!!!
Stay far away from anyone named JUAN or having anything to do with CHROME in West Covina, California! He is a thief and a liar. I hope he rips off the RIGHT person close to him and they repay him properly. I very much HOPE to meet up with Juan at a swap meet so I can personally thank him for how well he treats his consumer.
PS: Juan, on the phone, you stated numerous times you 'were out of the chrome business'. But yet, there are a bunch of new rip off reports about you and chrome? You're a joke, little man.

I appreciate working with this gentlemen, we have refunded his full $600.00 and we shipped him a chrome rear bumper worth $500.00 to him for free. We have agreed to send final payment for a core of the front bumper to close this deal. As for working of a white van and having all these names I have no ties to this as those are other peoples companies. This deal is mine and that is why I am making good on it and appreciate the customer working with me. We will send core payment to close this deal next week and again I thank this customer for working with me.
