There is no "P" in his name... it's just "Thomson" Moore. Everything the writer included above is true however.
This guy is plain and simple a "con artist" and will scam anyone he can in a multitude of ways. He has dozens and dozens of online profiles with ficticious names (some male, some female) and even goes so far as to be "friends" with his aliases and make comments on his own posts with some of his made up profiles. (I.E.: Ripoffjustice and Karaexposed above)
Honestly, I think the guy is certifiably crazy. I'd be careful in any dealings with him, because one day he's going to "snap" and bad things are going to happen.
Also keep an eye out for "Robert Fortenberry" - that's his gay partner - He's heavily involved in many of the scams.
If you're on Facebook, contact the administrator of "Kuntry's-Farm-Buy-Sell-Trade Lot" and ask him about this guy! He's got dozens of stories that he can verify on Thomson Moore

It is clear that Thompson Moore wrote both the original complaint about this woman, as well as the follow-up comment to try to make it appear more valid. This "Thompson Moore" guy is crazy! Search his name on this site to find all of the invalid and fabricated reports he has filed! What a piece of crap!
I have found dozens of similar reports on this site which have been authored by Thompson Moore under countless aliases. There's even one on me. He also goes onto other similar sites like scaminformer.com and even comments on peoples youtube videos under various aliases. He is extremely jealous of anyone in the horse industry, even if they don't compete directly with him. Every word out of his mouth is a lie. I watched him buy horses at low-end auctions, then turn around and list them on his website a few days later as an "Oldenburg Cross" with all kinds of "Show Points" and pretend he had owned and shown the horse for years. They were grade "junk horses" who had barely ever been ridden. His "trademarks" include coflex wrapped tails, and a very specific "pose" of the horse, as well as fabricated claims of being "Oldebergs" or "Holsteiners." Visit http://www.equestrianlife.com/profile/1000001743000/ and look at the pictures of the horses and you'll know the "pose" which I am referring to.
I haven't seen Thompson Moore in person in years. *He was basically "run out of" Orangeburg, SC after countless horse related complaints and issues. He surfaced briefly in Upstate SC before disappearing. He used to operate under "Old Orchard Farm" with the website www.oldorchardhorses.com (It no longer exists). When he moved to the Upstate, he used "Old Orchard Farm" for a while, but later changed to "Mallard Springs Farm" in an attempt to re-brand himself and leave his past indescressions behind. Dispite his apparent absence from the horse community over the past couple of years, he continues to mount his efforts to smear other horse professionals for his own twisted enjoyment.
When confronted about his lies and insane behaviors, Thompson Moore will threaten you with a lawsuit. That's his Modus operandi. Don't worry, he doesn't have an attorney, or the money to get one. Besides, you are in no danger of loosing a lawsuit when you only tell the truth about him.
I have been rather amused by the following "threads" about Thompson Moore over the years. Read them for yourself and draw your own conclusions:
http://www.chronofhorse.com/forum/showthread.php?t=300540
as well as this one:
http://www.chronofhorse.com/forum/showthread.php?t=185622
I especially enjoy the closing comment from the site moderator who states: "UPDATE: Our apologies for not being able to determine earlier, but bellfordfarms does in fact share an IP address with a recently created account "ThomsonMoore" as well as "ilovemyhorses87." "
By this point in his life, you would have expected that Thompson would have matured beyond the point of lying, smearing, and name calling.... all of which he does under aliases to hide his true identity. He frequently calls his targets "UGLY," "FAT," "NEEDS PLASTIC SURGERY," ETC... and he loves to make up silly names for them. He claims that people are obsessed with him, yet he's the one that continues to post on people's youtube accounts or lie about them on ripoffreport.com years after ever being in contact with that person.
I recommend that anyone who has dealt with Thompson Moore and had him smear their name post a reply to this report with a link to the ripoffreport that he has written about you, so that we can doccument what a crazed lunatic he is an an effort to remove the power of anonymity that he tries to operate under.

I have also been a victim of Kara Hoefer of Sweet Iron Farm in Swansea, SC. This woman is a complete liar, and will tell you whatever you want to hear in order to make a sale. She buys horses at auctions and off websites like "craigslist" and markets them as, "having had them for years." You cannot believe a word she says. All of her "biography" on her website is untrue. She is not gifted with horses, and from what I can tell, she is scared of them. She acts like she is some type of horse-whisperer, which is very comical because it's very obvious that she is self-taught with no formal training. She is a typical horse-trader who will do whatever it takes to make a sale. I purchased a horse from her a few months ago, and I have done nothing but regret my decision to buy from her. The horse was completely misrepresented, and she promised to refund my money if I had any problems. Well, I had problems, and no refund. I cannot even get a call-back, much less the promised refund. Obviously, from this report being over a year old, She has been up to no good for a long time. It's time that she be stopped. I am now stuck with a no-good horse I cannot ride. I guess this is just another notch in Kara's belt. Any buyer should think long and hard before buying anything from this fake.
