Karl Johnson; Mike Smith Yorkie Rip Off Scam Lagos Nationwide
I answered an add in the Cleveland Back Page.com regarding a Yorkie for sale. Mike Smith emailed me back stating that one had been sold, but one of his customers that bought a Yorkie from him a few weeks ago got transfered with his job to Nigeria and needs to find a home for the puppy. I quickly emailed the person Karl Johnson and inquired. He emailed me back and said he wanted to find a nice home that he loved his puppy (Sherry) and hated to part with her but had no choice. If I promised to take care of her he would let me have her for $500 this would include shipping. I should have known it was too good to be true.
I immediately emailed back to get the information. He said that he needed me to Western Union the money and of course I did. I started talking about this at work and then it started seeming to good to be true. My girlfriend at work found the scam on the internet and I had also found a fraud notice on the cleveland back pages on a puppy named pinky that was a fraud. I immediately called Western Union to report this fraud. I am one of the lucky ones that I realized it before the money had been picked up. Please don't fall for this scam. The puppy was beautiful and the pictures were breath taking. I hope the people who are out there doing this are enjoying what they are doing because they are breaking a lot of hearts and also taking money that they should be ashamed of.
