Karla Alvarado-Global Marketing Employment Scam AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! DO NOT BUY INTO THE HYPE!! Middle Town Kentucky
I am a former Employee of Global Marketing call me "J.R." let me shed abit light on this so called company.. "Hi my name is James im here on behalf of AT&T and Global Marketing. I am in the area today updating Customer Accounts with the latest discounts, promotions and rewards. You are still a AT&T Customer right? GREAT! Grab your bill."
I had to commit this memory and "pitch" this line every time i walked into a business. Next comes "Running the Script" calling into a AT&T call center from the businesses Land Line pretending to run a "Service check" on the phone system. Now comes the fun part [suckering the customer into thinking that their services are out of date or they are paying to much for something else] Like this " Okay Mr. Customer everything seems to be in order but I did notice that you are pay to much for Long distance and a slower speed of DSL so what I am going to do is Speed up your DSL and place on a New line at no extra cost and issue you a bill credit of X amount of Dollars that will be show up on the 2nd or 3rd billing cycle. Keep doing what your doing ill draw up the paperwork and let you know when I'm done." Yeah..
Sound easy enough but to unsuspecting customer you just raised their bill by $400.00. Yes I was apart of this. After 4 months working I beginning to see a pattern among pre-visited businesses. Owners where upset that someone from our agency had been there before and promised them things that weren't delivered. Against Karlas wishes I told these customers how to undo what Global Marketing had done to them. For this i was fired for what she called as acting like "The Phone Police" and that her SO Called Secretary Tasha (hi by the way) was her witness to her claiming that AT&T was doing an investigation into my actions . I called AT&T and found out that no such investigation was going on but somehow I was found out for helping the People that this company was Screwing none the less I as fired when I came back off my honeymoon Karla Alvarado, Steven Smith, Lana Enfeild (Married now) Jessica Aggrouso Saltkill, and Others yes i put your names out there so People will know about falsies your company/ employer cannot deliver to the people that they claim to help. Also there is another Office tied to this one that does home door to door or Consumer sales known as Preferred Marketing ran by her busniess partner Johnathon Castinada DO NOT take this as a chance of a lifetime job offer stay away from these False hopes has for Karla i truly hope that you refund all those people in and around Ky whom you've screwed and close your office and get a "real job" like the rest of us. Sooner or later Karma catches up to you. By the way you still haven't Sent me my W-2 for 2007 or are you evading taxes as well? I wouldn't be surprised.

To answer your question i cant figure out why i was canned alls i was told was that i help people cancel services that someone placed on others phone services that they didnt need like long distance calling plans and internet services that they knew nothing about having. I told these customers how to cancel them and i gave them services that provided the maxium output for their business needs and it was taking revenue away from Karla and at&t and i guess it didnt set well with them. I got in that business to help others not screw them. and has far has hitting the gong for me it was rare but i had to land more than 10 contracts in a day to sound off. By the time i was done for the day i was so wiped out i was almost to tired to drive home and lived almost 1.30 hours away. it was taxing on me mentally and physically to tell you the truth truth i was glad to get fired it opened up new careers for me. i now have a class A CDL and i drive trucks. At least before i left i helped as many people as i could.

I agree that there are shady buisness practices here and that there are def scams involved in luring people to this co. However JR i actually worked there with you for a while and i remember you being as corrupt as the co itself. Would you mind sharing your reason for leaving Global with the rest of it, keep in mind i know what the answer is but i will give you the opportunity to clear it up for us. I was at Global and i left under my own terms, broke beaten and finacially ruined. I was trapped far from home locked into a contract with my app. lease and not capable of leaving, i had to work there but i did it as ethically as poss, i did not let my frustation lead me to robbing unsespecting small buisness owners into signing something they were unclear about. I do NOT defend Global or Cydcore and how they do screw people on a daily basis. However we were all in the same boat and some of us stuggled to live by doing it honest, others would lie cheat and steel just to hit the Gong. Tell me James how often did you hit the Gong?
