Maltese Puppy purchased February 8, 2009 from:

Kay Holden

528 Corinth rd

Hogansville, GA 30230

My Maltese puppy purchase ($550.00) from the above breader pass away with a serious illness that the breeder was treating him for, but sold the puppy without notifying us of this sickness which resulted in the puppy not having medicine need to fight the illness. This Maltese was 7 weeks old weight only 1 lb and not to mention we were notified that the infection that this puppy had could also be past alone to humans, not to mention the other puppies at the kennel my family has also been expose by the breeder neglect. Per the Vet's reports this illness is cause by unclean/poor living environment. On February 9, 2009 at 3:00 Pm who examined the puppy. Puppy was enrolled in the Wellness program also. Puppy start showing signs of sickness on February 12, 2009 around 7:00 PM, Veterinarian called, puppy was taken in at 8:00am February 13, 2009, at 10:00 puppy had to be put to sleep. Autopsy was given and puppy had Giardia; Coccisosis and liver problems. I called the breeder on Feb 19 when autopsy was in and reported to her what was finding. After 10 minutes of acting as if she was not aware of the illness she ask did I tell the veterinarian that the puppy was on Aldon, I stated the Vet was given the medical records and if this was annotated everyone would have know that this puppy was sick and need care, I express that if this info was provided we may could have preventive this puppy from the pain he under went. She then hangs up the phone. From my research and conversation with the breeder after the fact, this Maltese Puppy was being treated for a serious infection which he needs continue medication and obviously no one but the breeder had this info. As a person who loves dogs, the breeder was only concern about selling this puppy and not about the future of this puppy. This Maltese was 7 weeks old weight only 1 lb and not to mention the infections that this puppy had could also be past alone to humans and my family was put in harms way. The medical cost for this puppy we had for only 4 days were $300.00 plus and he live only 1 hour due to the poor health issue. It was sad to find out that this breeder knew this puppy was ill and by allowing my family to be exposing to this, she also is exposing all her puppies. Not only doing harm to dogs and puppies but have no type of respect for families
