On June 11,2008, at 2:09pm I used my credit card to pay for for the AutoPilot Sales Program from FX Marketing for a 30 day FREE trial to see if I liked Keith Wellman's program.....Item was shipped until June 27th, received on July 3rd

I emailed FX Marketing on the 29th day, July 11 at 6:13am cancelling any and all business relationships with FX Marketing....however, FX Marketing charged my debit card for an additional $29.97 BEFORE my 30 day FREE Trial was up

I have sent repeated requests to Keith Wellman/FX Marketing to refund the $29.97 and to delete all my credit/debit card information from his files and have received no reply to date...6 days

Keith Wellman/FX Marketing were NOT authorized to charge my credit card for the $29.97 on July 11th @ 5:46am per transaction

They continue to ignore ALL emails, don't answer their phone, have not refunded my money, and have not confirmed they have deleted all of my financial information from their records...

I did finally get a refund, BUT, only after I contacted Keith Wellman's affiliate, who was the person I purchased Keith Wellman's program from and told them of my problem in getting a refund from this character.....

The affiliate contacted Mr. Wellman and a refund was made shortly thereafter.....

If I hadn't contacted his Mr. Wellman's affiliate, and put pressure on him to have Keith Wellman make good on his 30 Day Free Trial, I would NEVER have received a refund...Thank goodness for there are honest affiliate marketers out there!!

Whatever, you do...Do NOT get into any business dealings with Keith Wellman or any of his related businesses.

and you can draw your own conclusion on this one.

thirty days exactly from june11 @ 2:09pm is july11 @ 2:10 pm
*buyer cancels on twenty-ninth day with time to spare (6 hrs. and 56 min.)
*seller charges buyer on twenty-ninth day (8hrs. and 23mins. too early)

30 day free TRIAL means 30 day free TRIAL means 30 day free TRIAL!
*the buyer had an 8 day free trial.
*the seller had a 16 day free trial with the buyers $29.97. This is how long it took to finally send the product.

The OP's report was fully justified!!! You are wrong Keith!

#4Consumer Suggestion

Keith:

You are right - July 11 is exactly 30 days from June 11 (as there are only 30 days in June).  The problem is that it sounds like you charged his credit card on July 11 (the 30th day).

If someone signs up for a "30 day trial", you should not charge his credit card until ALL of the 30 days is up (instead charge it on the 31st day).  Charging Richard's card on July 11 would not have been a FULL 30 day trial as you are charging the card on the 30th day, which is still during the trial period.  If you want to charge a credit card on the day 30, then call it a 29 day free trial then.  Otherwise, you should do it on the 31st day.

To you it may seem to be like "splitting hairs", but to a consumer trying your product/service 30 free days equals a FULL 30 days, not a full 29 then charging the credit card ON day 30.

I am glad that you refunded the consumer.  According to your OWN terms and conditions you HAD TO REFUND as he canceled BEFORE the 30 days was up.  Your refund was not out of the goodness of your heart so don't make it seem so.

Also, did it really take you 6 days to respond to him???  Sorry, that is too long.  ONE business day would be more acceptable.  If you cannot handle all of the refund requests, hire someone to do it for you in a timely manner.  You should be able to afford to hire someone for this duty with no problem.

This consumer had every right to post this report as he legitimately felt swindled and you did not handle things properly.  Your company may not be a "rip-off", but the OP cannot change the name of this website.  Next time don't charge someone's card BEFORE the trial period is officially up.  When they email you to cancel, don't wait 6 days to respond.

Put yourself in the consumer's shoes and think how they may respond to getting charged too early and not getting a response back for almost a week.  Hello???

There is no need to say much here as we have done nothing wrong. The report stated that we charged on the 29th day which is false. June 11 - July 11 is 30 days. We refunded and canceled the reporters charge even though we were clearly in the right. Thanks, Keith Wellman FX Marketing Inc
