Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
It's been two years and two of my children are registered. They are devistated and are taking it personally. Who could possibly want to shatter a young childs self esteem like this.!

My son always wanted to be in modeling. After a lot of thought and hesitation my husband and I took him to kids.com for an interview. They said they loved him and wanted to "sign him." He was thrilled and thought his dreams would become reality. After several months of no calls for jobs he started to feel that he wasn't good enough. I encouraged him and told him there are many children and they would call. It's been two years and no calls have come.He was truly devastated until I had to teach him about this cruel behavior that this company has had. How can a children's modeling agency shatter a young childs dreams like this?? The emotional impact this has had on my son and many other children in this situation is totally unacceptable. Also, while my son was being interviewed by the Kids.com woman my daughter was in the room. When she came back to talk to my husband and I she told us that she also thought my daughter would be perfect for modeling as well. Of course we took it as a compliment. She wanted to sign her as well. I told her we couldn't afford to sign them both, so she cut us a "deal". For an additional $100.00 she would sign them both! What a deal!! Now I have two kids "signed" and two kids feelings to worry about. To make it even worse, our other son was told he also should have a picture on file. He thought this was totally cool, even though he had no interest in modeling.. So he started to get excited about it as well. There was no additional charge for my other son. Aren't we lucky?! Three children with possible modeling careers for the price of one and a half!! When we left the kids.com office my children were thrilled and excited about their possible "future" in modeling and what neat things could come out of this. So during dinner we spent an hour dreaming about what could possibly come out of this. The exitement in my children was heartwarming. If only we had known that this was a total scam and any dreams that any of my children had would be totally shattered. Again, my husband and I are appauled at this company for treating children like this. The fact that we are out $700.00 is terrible. But it's not half as bad as having to deal with the impact that this has had on our children.

Paul, I see that you keep entering your sarcastic comments on all the ripoff reports about Kids.com. We really don't need your input, so please keep your comments to yourself. Since you know everything than you should also know this scam that Kids.com is pulling is not right and they shouldn't be allowed to get away with it! Robin, don't worry, I understand your frustration. I too was ripped off by the Cherry Hill Kids.com. NBC 10 news in Philadelphia ran my story about Kids.com on March 15, 2005. Please contact me as I am trying to get a class action suit together. Thank you.

One that you couldn't teach them, because you didn't understand it yourself. They'll recover. And, as young adults, they'll be smarter and more prepared to deal with the real world.
