I have not found the services provided by Body of Change at the Turnersville, NJLA Fitness suitable for my needs. After my original trainer left after about six months into my training, I felt that I was left with young, inexperienced individuals who were no more than expensive playmates. My original trainer used to point out what his colleagues were doing incorrectly, and how they were encouraging their clients to do things that were potential damaging. I went from a trainer that was in college for sports medicine, to a graduating high school senior.
I had appointments that were cancelled due to the trainers absences or tardiness, or they just plain forgot. My thirty minute sessions never really lasted the full thirty minutes. I have stood around waiting to schedule an appointments and been ignored while at least five of them sat around chatting. I have had trainers who mumbled unintelligently, and I had to ask them every time they spoke, "What did you say?"
They were like vultures three or four times a week, a newbie would walk up to me and try to sign me up for their useless service that I was already signed up for.
They did not set up a baseline, nor did they monitor weight loss or increase in muscle mass. I guess that was just too much to ask.
The bottom line is I was less than satisfied and I would never suggest Body of Change services to anyone, in fact, I would encourage anyone who was thinking of joining to run away from them as fast and as far as possible. I feel I was cheated. It was a true waste of money. I could have burned the money and gotten better satisfaction. They did not even bother to spell my name correctly and after a year of me telling them my name was misspelled, they did not bother to correct it. It was a really bad experience. They sucked and blew.
