If your wife had told you about what the 3 day cancel policy said in writting, you would have known that it says very clearly that all refunds can take up to 30 days. That is according to the agreement she signed.

I, too, cancelled a contract within the three day period. I had decided against the four sessions per month at $39 each and, instead, got BOC to agree to two sessions per month at $29 per session. So, now I had to cancel the first contract. I had the receipt showing the cancellation and the fact the money would be returned in seven business days. After calling the company's toll-free number (LA Fitness), I got a run-around. I asked for a supervisor and was told that a follow-up call would be scheduled. The supervisor finally called back four days later. Since I didn't answer the phone, he left a phone number: 800.600.2540. That number rings right to the Executive and Administrative offices of LA Fitness. I did get my refund on the first contract on the tenth business day. Persistance pays off! (I also asked the manager at the BOC desk to see what he can find... he didn't prove to be helpful.)
