Me and my wife purchased 2 autos from the larry miller / 1800 get credit lot in boise in July 05. It's now jan 06 and the 2 cars we traded in have been repoed by the lien holders because larry miller did not pay off the loans.

We have had to return the 2 cars we bought in july because the deals fell through. Because the traded cars were not paid off

Thank you Rip-off Report for allowing me to address the consumers of the particular thread. It is definitely unfortunate when ANY business takes adavantage of a consumer in a non-ethical way. But I would like to take just a moment to point out to your consumers that in no way what-so-ever is Larry Miller associated with the KarMART Automotive Group of Burlington, Washington. I was actually quite surprised when I saw that there are dealers under his corporate umbrella with names matching ours. We are completely different companies -- much as the Sonic restaurant chain has nothing to do with the Sonic Automotive Chain. For any of our customers in the Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, and counties beyond, please feel free to contact any of our dealers for a verification of this information. Thank you, Jim Draper Sales Manager KarMART Automotive Group Burlington, Washington

This is to be expected of this company. You can do searches on this site, the Better Business Bureau web site and many other places on the internet and find the same type of stories (many worse) when it comes to companies owned by Larry H. Miller (who BTW also owns the Utah Jazz.) You will also find that, in most states where this company owns car dealerships, they have made agreements with atty generals offices and/or licensing bureaus to develop a binding arbitration procedure for unresolved consumer complaints. This case is a good example of their code of ethics: August 16, 2001 Attorney General Hardy Myers today filed a court action against a Hillsboro car dealer for unconscionable sale tactics used by its employees to coerce a 78-year-old consumer with Alzheimer's Disease into purchasing seven vehicles in one month. (google: hillsboro+plymouth+complaint to get the whole story.) Most of us would rather not do business with a companies such as this, so I would suggest that you stay away from companies that are owned by Larry H Miller (that might not be as easy as most of us think so here is a list of those companies) All-Star Catering American Capital Services American Toyota Used Car Super Center ArenaCross Arizona Tank Lines Arrowhead Honda Backcourt Barbecue Barry Engle Chrysler Plymouth Jeep Barry Engle Suzuki Big Dogzz Broadway Sweets BTL Group, Inc. Go to the Motor Vehicle office and find out who BONDS that dealer's license, and just file a claim with them for your losses. Also file a complaint against the dealer's license, and the District Attorney's office for financial fraud. He could lose his dealer's license and possibly do jail time if there is a pattern of violations. Follow thru! Get your money back, then get revenge!!!
