I'd like to know why all of the anonymous people who were supposedly ripped-off by Larson Financial haven't filed criminal lawsuits or complaints with the Colorado Attorney General.
It's one thing to assert, with no eveidence whatsoever, that Larson cleaned-out someone's bank account. If that's true, are these people such cowards that they can't use the legal system to take action?
These phony "complaints" are lies that are most likely posted by Larson competitors.
Show up or shut up.

I have only the best experience with Larson Financial of Westminster, CO. They are professional and carry out business in the highest character standards. Here is my story: We ended up owing the federal government about $18,000 and the state of CO about $7,000 due to us pulling some emergency money from retirement accounts. As soon as we realized our error before our taxes were due we knew there wasn't anyway to pay the combined taxes. We spoke to Leona at Larson Financial and hired her as our attorney. She listened to our wishes to resolve our tax debt over time and was able to set up a 9 year IRS repayment plan, and a 3 year state of CO repayment plan, without any negative "tax leans" that would destroy our credit. All has been well for the past two years thanks to the kind and knowledgeable support from Larson Financial. Then I lost my job due to severe medical disability incurred a few months ago. Leona was able to jump in and arrange a hardship discontinuation of my IRS payment for 18 months, and a reduction of my state payments. I am so grateful to Larson Financial for guiding us in our terrible time of need. They said that the IRS was even grateful for us coming forward up front with our situation and therefore gave us some leeway that is not normally done. Without Larson's support we would have lost our house and been in destitute. I can't recommend Larson enough for support if anything else then a peace of mind that there is a sunny bright light at the end of the tunnel.

This company has called repeatedly for the last week daily. They will start out with how they can help and tell you that they want to let you know your rights, do you even know you have a tax problem, ect. Even after telling this company no, they will continue to call. They use spoof numbers and are rude when you start to ask too many questions as to what kind of call this if a sales call or informative call.
SCAM go with a local company if anything and not a record dumpster diveing scam company like larson financial
DO YOU REALLY THINK ANYONE WOULD DO BUNSIESS WITH A COMPNAY THAT HARASSES, CALLS DAILY AND USES SPOOF NUMBERS?

Dear Mr Larson: I just received a call from your company and based on that call I write this. I am currently reporting you to the IRS as well as the State's Attorney in CO. Today I received a marketing call regarding a lien on my business for payroll taxes. Mind you I am already working with the IRS on an OIC so this marketing cold call came as a big surprise. A woman named Chandra(sp) asked some questions fishing for information (address of the business and dollar amount) and then transfers me (without asking me) to some guy who frankly sounded like a used car salesman as he launched into his pitch. When I cut him off and asked him, "why was I transferred to you; why are we talking? I don't know you." He yelled at me and said, "because you are in big trouble lady." Really? that's how you are approaching people? Thankfully I am already working on this but how many people is your company scaring/bullying into and then bilking out of monies? Unfortunately, you are not the only ones out there practicing like this. The key as a consumer is to report you to the proper authorities. The key on your part, if you are interested in running a reputable company, to train your cold callers.

My previous company used Larson Financial TWICE to get a reasonable solution from the IRS that we definitely couldn't get on our own. They have always been above board and done nothing but a great job. There are some crooks in the tax liability business for sure, but Larson NOT one of them. I find it very suspicious that the same person with a story about "helping out a close friend" keeps posting similar false stories about this company. I suspect its someone from one of the sleazy competitors trying to say bad things about a good company. Shame on them! - T. Guggenheim, Colorado

I worked at Larson Financial for a while and know the owners rather well. I am still in the industry but I now work for a competitor because I lost my job at Larson. I can honestly say that after all my years in the tax industry working for various companies that Larson Financial is one of the most honest and ethical firms you can hire. I lost my job with them due to my own actions and i regret it everyday. They treat their employees well and therefore their clients are treated well. If your reading this then your probably doing research on who to hire to help you with your tax problem and have recieved multiple calls. This industry is entrenched by sales people who go to great lengths to bash the competition. After reading this complaint I have no doubt that it was made by some closer at some firm who lost a deal to Larson cause Larson has an impeccable record and their employer does not. There are some honest and credible firms out there and some less than credible ones just like in any industry. A better way to confirm a companies credibility is the bbb. Anyone can log onto this site and post a complaint. I speak from long term experience of working in this industry and being trained what to say to people like you reading this. Larson is one of 2 firms ive worked for that would literally reprimand sales guys for lying or harassing clients and prospective clients. Anyway, I read this and I wont be sending anyone to see this even if it means losing a deal to them cause its a fabrication and im good enough of a closer to win deals without cheating. Whoever wrote this is weak and I hope you really dont call yourself a closer. Thats all. I hope this helps. Without a level playing field we all run the risk of falling. Thanx

I woked for this company for a little over 9 months. Everything in the complaint sounds exactly like the way Larson Financial works. Belive me, it's not just Larson that operates this way. All tax resolution firms work this way. None of them provide any services than any individual or business can complete on their own without paying the outrageous retainer fees. They continue to rewrite the clients for services the client doesn't even need in addition to mis-leading thier clients in beliveing they need additional services that Larson Financial know from the start will not be approved or that their clients don't even qualify for. The worst part of Larson Financial is that their primary Power of Attorney, Cori Marks (she signs all the IRS resolution plans for their non-attorneys, non-enrolled agents and non-CPAs, literally just normal people they've promoted to "associates" and mis-represent them to potential clients as attorneys, enrolled agents and CPAs) has a habit of not calendaring client deadlines or follow-ups, thus resulting in additional levy action and judgments being brought against their clients through no fault of their own. I myself had to bail Cori out of trouble regarding judgements brought forth by a client's creditor just because she didn't respond to a settlement offer in a timely manner. I saved the client thousands of dollars and I'm not an attorney or CPA. Just a regular guy that seems to know more about resolution than Larson Financials' lead attorney. My advice to all clients, if you see Cori's signature on your 8821s or 2848s, sever your business relationship with them and complete resolution yourself. I guarantee you'll be better off. Additionally, just speak with your IRS and State Agents and they will assist you more than any tax resolution firm can. They will actually guide you through the resolution processes for which you qualify for. They will not mis-lead you. If your agents arent workable, ask to speak with their managers.

Yet another post from yet another person who has not hired my firm and therefore could not speak with any authority on the quality of work that my firm does. In fact, if you do internet research on my company you will see that Larson Financial has a perfect record with the BBB for 4-years running: http://denver.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=33&bbb=0885&firm=5000459 Any intelligent reader will see right through these false and malicious posts. From what I am reading on line and all over the internet, you are not the first person for this to happen to with Larson Financial, Dennis. I am sorry to hear about it. After considering hiring this firm, I read the numerous complaints and rip off reports filed against them and trust me, I am not going to waste my money on them! Good luck in the future with getting your money back. I plan on hiring a firm that does not lie. God Bless you as well Dennis for bringing light for us all about this company. Jackie

I am the President of Larson Financial, we are a family run business and take this accusation VERY seriously because it is utterly false. My business depends upon satisfied clients and my firm's good reputation. We NEVER take money out of a client's account without their written authorization for the exact amount and date for the debit. Furthermore, Larson Financial has NEVER been sued in the past and is NOT currently being sued. My company has a Gold Star Rating with the Better Business Bureau zero complaints in the last four years. We pride ourselves in customer service and the highest standards in ethics. Also, I challenge this false post further in the claim that they cannot get me on the phone. In fact, I regularly give out my personal cell phone number to my clients. If there is a shred of truth in this, please call me at 303-554-0778 or 888-589-0955 so that we can discuss the validity of these claims. Sincerely, Jack Larson President, Larson Financial Inc.
