Resonse to suggestion on Escrow: She uses paypal and then closed her account, so paypal says. She sells inferior merchandise and claims quality and clarity that doesnt exist. LisaLePaige auctions items thru goantiqueslive on ebay. you bid, then when the bidding is over, a second chance offer comes thru. you think its ebay, because goantiqueslive is using ebay logos on their personal web site (already reported to ebay, they dont care about infringement rights theyre too busy sucking up the dollars). So, you purchase the item, once again, thinking it ebay, and then when you get it, its nothing as described (and i do mean nothing close) and Lisas supposed rules are, return in 3 days with a gemologist report, not a jewelers report, but a gemologist (cant find one of those in the wilderness)and the real catch, dont remove the stone from the setting! If this isnt a con from a supposed honest tv jewelry spokesperson, then I dont know what is. Oh Yeah, even if you purchase the item off the ebay web site, the results are the same, so lets just band together and not purchase anything from her, not on ebay, not on goantiqueslive, not on her own website (which she has lots of) and not in her stores. That is the only way, unless you join me in court, that she'll feel the same way as those of us shes ripped off. I'm sure she doesnt use escrow, that would be the honest thing to do. thanks for your suggestion.

Lena, Any REPUTABLE seller would have no problems using the escrow service offered on ebay. This is a third party that is involved in the transaction. Money is not released until you approve the item condition. And, I bet she does not use PayPal, right? Let me guess, Western Union? Furthermore, you should post the ebay id exactly as it appears on ebay in the title line and subject area here on Rip Off Report so it is searchable. Also, what kind of ebay score and feedback rating did she have? Be sure to file a fraudulent transaction complaint with ebay, and urge other members scammed to do the same. Good luck!
