Want to buy leads? Avoid LIST BUILDER Pro like the plague

You know the leads that you can buy to get people to "signup" for your news letter?

The idea is you then send out a newsletter with good information (in my case work from home) and then you can build a relationship and send out an "offer" a few times a month. Also you promote your business opportunity to them!

I purchased 10,000 double optin leads/month from List Builder Pro for $US649.75 for a "one month" deal.

The second month came around and I receive an account from 2checkout billing me for another month ($US650)

I contacted them to explain that I signed up for a 1 off deal.

They later contacted me to say the charge was cancelled and I thought nothing of it.

Big mistake. I know this will sound dumb but it turns out I didn't scan my Credit Card Statement for that month.

End of financial year and I was going through all my statements and I then discovered that I had been charged for the second lot of leads.

2checkout said sorry but it was between me and List Builder. Erik James from list builder is not communicating with me.

It took about 4 months for the list to reach 10,000 and when it continued to grow (I am thinking I only bought 10k) I figured they probably give 10% extra to makeup for duds.

When I grew beyond that I emailed list builder 3 times informing them that I had reached, what I thought was my quota. They never replied.

So the list ended up growing to > 15,000 but never reached to 20,000 they have illegally charged me for.

As far as the list goes, they are the biggest duds of all time.

At best I have not made one cent out of it. The people are supposed to be signing up for news letters about starting home business on line and yet not one person has taken up any offers.

I have sent numerous opportunities that were absolutely free without getting one taker (out of 15,000 unbelievable)!

I fail to see how this could happen if they were genuine people looking to start a business.

At worse I have had 100s of rude, abusive and sometimes threatening emails from people tell me to stop emailing them.

Remember this is double optin, where someone clicks a link to get the newsletter and then they receive an email asking them to verify their intentions to receive the emails.
