Lollimops Cattery Owner requested $100 deposit before seeing the cat. We found out that she was a bad breeder and asked for the deposit back and were denied. Rip-off! Escondido, California
On December 19th @ 8:30am my husband contact Melanie Lowry at Lollimops to inquire about a kitty for sale. At that time Ms. Lowry said she had a kitty but she need a $100 deposit before seeing the kitty. After discussion with other breeder and numersou violation recorded about this cattery my husband decided not to view the cat and asked for the deposit back. This conversation happened at 8:30pm December 19th (same day).
Ms. Lowry declined the return of the deposit and got very rude and unprofessional with my husband to a point where she hung up on him. We have filed report with the Better Business Bureau, Cat Fancier of American, Pay Pal and other organizations for consumer rights. My husband is out $100 and NO merchandise (kitty).
This women has several complaints regarding her cattery and unfair business transactions. She has sold sick cats and several consumers are filing complaints to retreive money back. Please proceed with all filings to stop this women from cheating people out of good money.

Included is a photo of Melanie Lowry AKA "Annie" and a photo of how ugly her kittens are. She washes her kittens in cold water if this is not abuse I dont know what is. She told me this when I visited in her "shack" as she calls it. And after she washes them in color water she does not even fully dry them so they are damp and pieces of lint stuck on the wet fur.
Buyers beware this is a bad actor

Once again Rosemarie Zizzo, erstwhile nutcase and self appointed president, judge, jury and executioner of the pedigree cat breeders society is harassing me and posting her lies and garbage! Of course I took a deposit on this kitten, it was Christmas week, how do you hold a kitten for someone without a deposit? He was told upfront that it was non-refundable should he back out....he was sent to also read that information clearly stated on my website, and asked if he understood it. He said he did. He also asked to have the kitten delivered more than two hours away. I did not have time to do that but told him that a few days later I would be delivering kittens to a disabled woman in a city about a half hour closer to him, did he want to meet me there? I would bring his kitten. He thought that was wonderful and would work out well for him. His deposit was a $100.00...most breeders charge half the price of the cat, and then that is forfieted if the buyer backs out. I do not do that, nor do I condone it. That does not mean it is not right for others. A $100.00 deposit usually covers most of my expenses to re-advertise and re-interview and re-home the kitten unless it has gotten to old, then the price has to come down, so revenue is lost. He backed out more than 12 hours later, after having his mother call many times to tell me how ecstatic she was that he was getting this kitten for his wife, and to give me all her breeding advice which consisted of one litter 18 years ago. He also called several times to make surethat he was getting the kiten which he had wanted site unseen, butI insisted that he see at least see a photo first which was emailed to him. The whole story posted here is just another of zizzo's many wacko lies and attempts to harass me and blackmail me into giving her what she wants. Another cat to torture. She has been displaying this behavoir of a stalker for several years, and has been stalking me relentlessly. Everything I do on the internet is invaded by her. she has hacked into my email many times and spams my friends and contacts with her garbage, she has hacked my website, and had it taken down for copyright infringement claims, but when she couldn't prove her claim the site went right back up. She runs around the internet posting her lies and garbage, making up things, harassing owners of cat sites if they do not bow to her extortion. Rosemarie Zizzo is a really HORRIBLE person who cannot help even herself, and never ever attempted to help her cats, in fact just dumped them at the pound when they got sick. Not once either but many times. Ask me, I have the proof, as I helped to pick them up, treat them and re-home them. She was brought up on animal welfare charges and never allowed to register a cattery, or breed again thru The Cat Fancier's a*s Inc. This is her retaliation for that. She is hateful, spiteful, and seroiusly disturbed, and if you read all the things posted here about her you will be able to readily discern that. Read her website too, it is a rambling diatribe of lies and false accusations that she in no way can prove. Mostly just the festering of her mind. Just because she has a website, does not mean that anything on it is the truth! Do we want to allow people like this to run our world? Fight back! Tell your story on the website listed below. The above report was not submitted by Rene Moore/Carr. It was submitted by Rosemarie R. Zizzo, the "president" of the Pedigree Cat Breeder's Society, a fraudulent organization which does not have the copyright, trademark, registered or non profit status that it claims. The report is full of Ms. Zizzo's own terminology, bad grammar and mispellings. It has been filed in someone else's name, which means she has impersonated the actual "complainant". As to the incident in question, Ms. Lowry did not ask for deposit "to see the kitty". She was asked to hold the kitten until Christmas, and refused unless a deposit was paid. The person making the inquiry was advised on the phone that the deposit was non-refundable, and the same information is printed on the breeder's website. This is simply common sense and good business practice, especially at that time of year. All of the complaints against Lollimops cattery mentioned in the above report, have been denied or rejected by the organizations involved. She is a registered cattery in good standing with CFA. On the other hand, the woman who misrepresented herself, Rosemarie Zizzo, has twice abandoned her own cats at at a kill shelter in San Jacinto, CA. For that, and the content of her libellous website, Ms. Zizzo was suspended for life from the Cat Fanciers Association.
