On May 8, 2017, I purchased a 1967 Mustang from Lonestar Classic Motors (LCM) based on the condition and description that LCM provided via email and his website. In addition, LCM agreed to repaint the entire car for $4000. Upon arrival to inspect the vehicle after already paying LCM upfront for the car and paint job, I realized the Mustang was not as described and the paint was not even completed (under the hood, inside trunk under antenna, inside doors were not even painted), not the right color, missed areas that were not even painted, and very poor quality at best. I pointed out all of these flaws to LCM and asked for a partial refund.
LCM refused to refund and only offered to try and fix the paint. After getting a second opinion, it was highly advised to not allow LCM keep the car any longer and to ask for a fair and partial refund. LCM refused to refund any portion of the money paid upfront for the paint job even though it was very apparent that the car was not completed. In addition, during the second opinion, I was informed the the car was full of rust even though LCM guaranteed the car was rust free! LCM stated the car was a straight body, which is also another lie. LCM needs to be shutdown and not allowed to do any business in the automotive industry. In the end, LCM refuses to work with me on refunding any portion of the $4000 I paid up front for the paint even though it is 100% incorrect and terrible!
