Manor Teak has been setup by Paul Allen and Mark Allen - orginally from Essex in the UK, where they ran a company called Wessex Teak. If you do a Google search on Wessex Teak you will see a very long history of complaints against them. They have multiple County Court Judgements against them, but have fled to America to avoid payment to consumers like me who have been cheated out of hard earned money.

Please avoid them - they WILL take your money and not deliver your goods. They WILL lie to you about delivery. They WILL swear at you down the phone and threaten you.

Once they have finished in the US, they will simply setup in another country.

Save your time and money and buy elsewhere.

Paul Allen is now residing in my lovely hometown of Oxford, Mississippi. UK, be glad he's not your problem anymore.

Paul Allen has written bad checks all over town. He talks his way into "renting" luxury dwellings, then moves out when the property owners realize they've been had. He "bought" a vehicle from a trusting business owner a year and a half ago, and has yet to pay a penny for it.

After doing a lot of research, I found that he is responsible for scams in several states in the USA.

How he is still walking free is a complete mystery to me. I have printed all information I've found about him, and am taking it to our local authorities.

I can assure that I am not and would never want to be any friend or member of the Allen family. I am one of the large number of innocent customers who was ripped off by Paul in the UK. Just do a google search on 'Wessex Teak' to see for yourself the wake that has been left.

The County Court Judgement that I have outstanding in the UK (before Paul left behind his corrupt business and fled to the US to once again run an unethical business), clearly has Paul stated as the defendant.

I, like a large number of other 'victims' of Paul Allen has been lied to, sworn at and cheated out of hard earned money. Please do not support this kind of activity and in turn put yourself at risk of being ripped off.

The Internet has the ability to expose criminals like Paul Allen...so even when they flee to foreign waters, they can still be followed. It's just a shame that the UK authorities cannot action the proven claims against Paul.

Buyer beware.

These are all false complaints placed by my brother Mark Allen on this awful website. You do not get an A rating with The Better Business Bureau by being a poorly run business. You will notice there are absolutely no negative comments on any genuine review websites as any false allegations are removed, unlike this one where they ask for $7500 & $300 per month to repair your reputation.

Mark, enough is enough now!! I will not engage in childish tit for tat, I am too busy trying to run a successful business as should you be. Give a great service and sell the best quality products at the right price. Ive been trying to tell you this for 3 years and now is the time to finally listen or you will fail. Otherwise you would not be worrying about the success I am making of my business and wasting your time posting false allegations on this horrible website. Some facts to back up my claim....

Please check out who provides the webhosting for both Wessex Teak in the UK and Manor Teak in the US. Not suprising that they are the same small company called Advanced New Media, based in Basildon, UK. Not possible to be a coincidence.

Mark Allen and Paul Allen are brothers - Paul fled to the US. So whereas Mark may never have been involved in Manor Teak, I would welcome a response from Paul to deny tha he was a part of the scam that is Wessex Teak.

Wessex Teak has a large number of County Court Judgements against them in the UK, that cannot currently be actioned because Paul has fled the country. Buyers - please do a check on Wessex Teak on the internet to see for yourself the vast quantity of ripped off customers.

When Paul has taken your money, be prepared for you to never see it again. If you are lucky you will get a late delivery of sub standard goods.

Save your money and buy elsewhere.

Dear Paul Manor Teak has bounced an ACH payment with OEC freight we have been trying to contact you at your place of business by phone and e-mail and have yet to get a response. Im not questioning rather youre doing legit business or not but it does seem pretty fishy that no is able to return a phone call or e-mail to address this with us and also fishy that this happened on the last shipment you booked with us. Please contact OEC to resolve this issue and keep your company creditability or I can create my own reports on sites like this to make sure that no one gets ripped off by your company again on top of that fact we will make sure that all our agents abroad know of your company dealings and will not accept any future booking/ business from you.

This report is so wrong in all Facts and I cannot believe that something like this is allowed to remain on this or any site. You should not be allowed to remain anonymous when making such serious allegations.

I will detail just how wrong these allegations are - Mark Allen has NEVER been a part of Manor Teak in any shape or form - I have NEVER taken money and not delivered goods - I have NEVER lied to a customer about delivery or anything else - I have NEVER threatened anyone and certainly NEVER sworn at a customer - I have NO intention of finishing in the US and definitely have no intention of setting up in another country, the USA is home to me, my wife and our three children.

Unlike the coward who originally posted these lies, I have the backing and support of hundreds of satisfied customers. If this business was really a scam then why didn't this anonymous person report us to a GENUINE consumer site like the Better Business Bureau?
