Hello, I don't think that your assertion about this store is credible, or common for that matter. I am a very frequent shopper at Marshalls in Hingham, and I have had almost nothing but great experiences there. There have been things I've had problems with however, like the fact that they will not reduce the price of an item with a stain. Though, they do give you the option to buy the item, try to get the stain out and if it doesn't work you can return it. Of course, I've always been able to get the stain out, so I've never returned it, and don't know if they really follow up with that statement ...... This store even has pleasant employees. You can walk around the store, and almost always hear laughter coming from it's employees. That's great, as opposed to the opposite of having grumpy workers. Most of the people who work at the front desk are genuinely nice people as well, and really aren't out to get you. I've had a bad experience with a white haired lady there, she was extremely rude to me, and I've seen her being rude to others as well. If you do have a return, try to go to the young girl who is always up at the front, and is so nice. If she can't return an item for me, for whatever reason, she's so apologetic and sincere about it. I've also had an encounter with the Ms. Jeniffer you speak of - blond, with an extremely condescending attitude? Yeah, I think that's her. The entire time I was talking wither her, she acted like she was so much better than I, and wouldn't spend more than 5 minutes answering my question before she rushed off to do something else. I don't think she's out to rip us off though. I think she's just doing her job. I have actually seen her joking around with the other employees so she can't be all that bad. Maybe i just caught her on a bad or busy day. I can't bash her based on that one experience, and neither should you. I've seen them return many broken items, and if you do have a broken item, and the front desk needs to ask for management approval, hope that the store manager is on. I don't really remember her name, but she's short and she has shoulder length blond hair. She's really really nice, and actually seems to care about the customers. But avoid that gray haired woman at all costs - it almost seems as if she doesn't even want to work there, and if that's the case please find another job. You're too unpleasant to deal with. It seems like you don't speak much English, maybe there was a language barrier there that prevented Ms. Jeniffer and the front desk associates from understanding what you were saying. I can imagine you were rude as well, and that surely won't get a reasonable response from the employees, because it's a natural instinct to fight rudeness with rudeness. All in all, I think this store is great, and I also think that your assertion that they are out to rip us all off is completely wrong. I think they're just doing their jobs, and doing what the company tells them. Sometimes we forget that these stores are actually run by a bigger company and has to run by their standards.
