McKinley Home Improvement Biggest Regret of My Life Columbus Ohio
In August, five years ago, I contracted with a fellow church member and owner of a home improvement company to replace the roof on my home. During this same time, I was in the midst of making preparations for my daughter's wedding.
What a mistake! He did not personally oversee the job, but brought in "workers" who came when they were ready. His workers continually asked for ice water and I found them sitting when they should have been working. The men wanted me to pay them before the roofing work was finished. They did not bring a dumpster or anything to catch the roofing they were removing. I found pieces of roofing in my yard for many years. The owner of the company only stopped once to see how they were progressing. It took almost two weeks for them to finish the job.
When Spring came with the rains, the dining room and the two downstairs bedroom ceilings began to leak. In my bedroom, a part of the ceiling has fallen down. I called my fellow church member who said he would take care of it. To this date, after many calls, I have not seen or heard from him.
