Med Center Mazda Ripoff sold me a van with major defects and refuse to let me trade for a better car with out a large down payment Pelham Alabama
I purcahsed a 2000 mazda van in june of 2002, which had only one owner and 7,145 miles. I was told that the van was in good shape.
Immediately after I purchased the van, I began to have problems with the transmission. I reported to them that the transmission was changing rough, but was told that there was nothing wrong with the transmission. I continued to feel that the transmission was bad.
The van had several other problems over the following year, including, seat belts replaced, sliding door repair, cruise control repair, ball joints replaced, cooling system service, new transmission, and cv boot replaced.
The van was in the shop three times for the transmission before a new transmission was was replaced, and back in the shop now for another transmission less than three weeks later.
I feel that this van has had some major damages before I purchased it and was not told about the problems. I also feel that a new transmission was not installed on 1/21/04, if another one has to be installed today (2/10/04.
I tried to trade it in on another van when I found out that the transmission was really bad, but was told that I owe more for the van than what it is worth and that I would have to put a large amount down to get out of this one because it was over charged.
I feel that I have been riped-off by Med Center Mazda. I have written the Mazda Company and waiting from an answer from them.
