Meg Higgins - Her Miracle Not a True Sober Living Home Not even in Malibu, but in Zuma Beach Beware Malibu California
Stay away from this alleged sober living home. I thought it was legit as the women’s counselor from Brotman Hospital recommended this facility for my daughter. Beware as the owner Meg Higgins I am told pays a referral fee to get clientele. Any real sober living house will have people come in only after they have been to at least a 30 day rehab, not directly from detox.
Her Miracle and Meg Higgins make you pay up front and if your loved one leaves early, even within 24 hours you get nothing back. My experience is that there was no supervision, no transportation to meetings by alleged "staff". The other women who were "in recover" did the driving or they send a cab to take you.
Meg Higgens now has two judgments against her in Los Angeles, but has done a great job of putting all her accounts, house etc. in other names so the victims cannot collect. Don't get involved with this house.
