Metropolitan Lottery Commission, Kingsway Financial Management Sent me a check for 2997.45 and wanted me to send back 2864.00 before I could recieve my lottery wnnings of 98,000.00. Novascotia Nova Scotia
I am making a report against Meropolitan Lottery Commision. I went to the mailbox and recieved this letter with a check for $2997.45. The letter stated that I won a lottery for $98,000.00. All I need to do was put the check in my bank and send them $2864.00. I would have to call them to activate the check.
I tried to cash the check and when they called to okay the check, They said that was there company B.J.s Wholesale Club ,but the didn't send me a check for no lottery winnings and wanted me to send it to there lost prevention. I could have put this check in my account and they would have had all my information and got my money and I would have got nothing.
I was also, told that I could have charged with fraud if I would have cashed that check. I hope that something can be done about this.
