Meyers, Marrocco & Associates This company is no good. Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Do not use this company to collect any debts owed to you. They will pressure you to send them "a couple" to see how they do and then will tell you they are uncollectable and you should take them to small claims court. We sent out a notice to take one to small claims court and the debtor told us they paid the collection agency. We then called M,M & A and they said they did recieve the money in November, we called in December. They told us we would recieve our money in December.
We called again in February and found out they also collected from another debtor for a ridiculous amount after we told them NOT TOO!. They told us our money will now be coming to us until the end of February (now the 28th. no money yet). I received a call from a Kimberly who started out by saying " I do not like making these calls" and proceeded to tell me the company was in financial difficulty and we would be paid but she could not tell us when. When I kept pressing for a exact date she got mad and said she couldn't tell me and finally she got nasty and hung up.
I immediately sent a letter telling then to cease and desist from collecting any more debts and i first received a call from Kimberly again who was real nasty to our recepationest and said I can report this to whom ever I wanted but I would not get our money any sooner then I received a nasty fax from the CFO telling me to stop calling them I was interrupting the flow of their marketing department. ( I only called them 2 times). This company is no better than the people they collect from, they take their clients money.
