MGI NYC International Xavier And Nathan Daniels Huge scam, can't find one thing legit and website is bogus Scamville Nationwide
What a joke. I feel stupid for even sending the cash in the first place, but i figured it'd be easier than busting my butt freelancing and needed more connections, good thing is, i never sent off the signed papers, i caught on quickly after. I was contacted by a jennifer singer on CriagsList after responding to a post about a music video.
She referred me to "xavier" from mgi-nyc.com who's assistant "nathan daniels" was going to add my pictures to their rip off site for either 200 or 350 bucks to give the client something to see and to market me. He also offered the option of sending comp cards each month but told me i'd have to go through someone they referred for a 24 hr turn around time.
He rushed me into it being that the casting i wanted to submit for was for a couple days later. I send the cash at walmart through moneygram and since never heard a word back. My online port that i was supposed to get set up was never even finished. Save your cash and invest that into your portfolio or some comp cards to send to local legit agencies.
This is the 1st and last modeling scam i fall for. Dont be another victim, do your research. They have no references and pose as so called models on all kinds of sites. No one answers emails or phone calls. Just found out he put up a new myspace, ha! What a scam, Their website is nothing but copy and pasted photos from movie sites with no type of legitmacy. Don't be fooled
