On June 26,2015@ 3:03 pm I got an email from a Michael Davis from [email protected] stating that I will be prosecuted within a few days by the federal governemnt from the bureau of defaulters agency ftc for $13,721.15 with attorney fees and interest fees if I don't call them to straighten the problem out. It also says that if I can't afford an attorney they will provide for me.

You didn't really make it clear if you knew this was a scam, so I am just going to let you know it is a very typical scam.
First of all there is no such thing as putting your SSN on hold..that is tip off number 1.
The second thing is just the overall wording and poor grammar.
There is no such agency as Bureau of Defalters, check out the FTC link below.

If the number is even still in operation, when you call them you could give them ANY fake name and change the case number by 2 or 3 digits and they would amzingly find your case.
They will then try to pressure you into sending them money immediatly. But they won't want a check or even a credit card. What they want is a Money Order, WU Money Gram, or Pre-Paid debit card. They will come up with 1 of a dozen reasons why, except the true reason. Which is that those funds are basically untraceable and once they get it there is no way for you to get it back.
The best thing to do is to just delete the e-mail and not worry about it.
