Michael Lamb contracted our company by June 10th, 2013. We are traders in CHile and we export Copper and HMS1 which is Iron Scrap. He contacted us very formally telling us that he needed to buy 5 containers of 20FT with HMS1, to be shipped to Nheva SHeva and that he would pay against Draft BL. He gave us the details of his end user who we had to invoice and we loaded. After 13 days of non payment, we contacted the end buyer. Michael Lamp was histerical and insulted us over email.
THe end buyer told us that he had received different price and that Michael Lamb had failed to perform twice. Also, he sent us the email where Michael Lamb asked him for TT payment to his own account instead of ours and luckly it was rejected by the bank because he mistyped a number. Michael Lamb´s plan was to receive the money and run and meanwhile we would remain unpaid and the end buyer would never receive his BL.
Yesterday our accountant received an email from Michael Lamb, offering him a business. That we invoiced 25 containers because he had asked from another supplier to get 20 containers. So we had to finance the operation and triangulate the payment. This guy apart from being a scammer is delusional and its a complete danger to society. He is scamming people in Chile and we don´t know if he has scammed people in the other parts of the world. Our loss was 56.000USD

This complaint is totally bogus. Our company ordered 5 x 20' containers from Marcia's company in Chile. We were very specific in the loading photos that needed to be taken. When they finished their loading they sent us NO photos of the material they loaded in the containers. Not one photo. True idiots. They know nothing about HMS scrap metal, nothing about business and nothing about loading material. They have no experience whatsoever in HMS. Furthermore they were contacting my buyer and trying to sell directly to them. Not only did they load material without loading photos but they tried to subvert our company and contact our buyer directly. I have proof for all of this and if anyone is interested they can contact our office. The end result was we did not buy from them. I suggest not doing business with this company or you will waste your time with trying to undo the damage they will surely cause. I am also filing a complaint against them on this site and will pursue fraud charges against them. Their company name will be all over the internet by the time we are finished with them.
