This company is shameless!  Initially, I thought it was an empathetic company, who had purchased a debt I owed to Synchrony Bank (Amazon).

I know that the Synchrony Bank Card is a legitimate debt.  That is why I entertained the idea that they were sincere in helping me to get back

on track with my payments.  I fell behind on this card when my mom became critically ill and I was taking care of her in Hospice care for (7) months!

I just literally lost track of anything I had to focus on, except prior to that, i paid more than my monthly payments, but always as agreed.  My best friend (Mom) was my primary focus during that time!  Well she passed seven months later and I was extremely depressed.  ( I am still in mourning...but functioning now!)  I received a call from MCM about a month or so after her funeral.   The guy who contacted me was not rude, and I was informed that the company had purchased my account from Synchrony Bank.  I was now supposed to deal directly with them.  I told him I did not have the means to pay the debt off in full. I was told they would work it out with me where it would be manageable.  I agreed to the payment to get the first and second payments and then would be on a scheduled monthly payment.  I did inform them I was not yet working but looking for a position and may be able to begin regular modified payments as agreed.

Then the drama begins!  I did sign the authorization to allow deductions from my account on the agreed one payment a month.

Then I get a call ( from the same Midland Credit Management) who now has access to my bank information!  So they pull a duo team tag on me.  The guy who had initially gained my confidence to pay the legitimate bill (or whatever you want to call it. It wasn't that much when I last paid the bill, but since I lost track of it, I figured there would be additional interest charges. But even that should not have been that much more!)

They now said I owe on a CreditOne Credit Card!  That account offered me a $250.00 check to deposit into the credit card account, because any charge I ever made was "ALWAYS" paid off so no interest charges would accrue.  They made me the offer for the money, because of my "great" paying history!  I NEVER cashed or deposited that check!  I did not need the funds and did not want any additional debt.  I had less than 125.00 balance on that card.  But now that MCM has the debt, I now owe....according to them over $1200.00!!  They told me if I would pay a little bit on it, they would come back and just forgive the fabricated charges!!  I told them I did not want to pay that account a dime, because that is fraudulent what they have done!  They began taking UNAUTHORIZED PAYMENTS out of my account EVERY WEEK!!  I have alerted my bank to this situation, but one of the actions was a transfer -SOMEHOW they were able to transfer, NOT debit money out of my account!!!  How is that legal?  I called them and no one called me back about it either!  I don't know how companies are allowed to just squash consumers and get away with their dirt!!

Fraud denotes liar and somebody who's word is valueless because you can't trust them. It's kind of like when somebody agrees to make payments on time as per the terms and conditions they agreed to but later they fail to do that, of course with every excuse in the book and sympathy cards to justify their failure to do what THEY PROMISED TO DO!

Oh yes, now's the time to write back and say, "You must work for them."
