Moneris Solutions a fair warning to all merchants out there who are thinking of swapping over to Moneris - read the contract and all its fine print very very carefully before handing over the keys to your kingdom to them. You cannot trust their sales rep and their pitch. Ottawa Montana
Capsulated and vague information termination fee levied by Moneris Solutions on their merchants is very painful for merchants that place themselves enslaved to a system that does not allow for easy options for exit. The report said about lot of their sales executives inclined about the initial termination clause and try to dig around the issue in order to avoid addressing it. This causes a lot of unsuspected problems for the merchants to enter into a contract without fully understanding the terms of the agreement. Later, when a fee is levied, it then becomes a case of “red tapism” with the merchant ending up as an ultimate looser. Based on some of the complaints circulating online, it is believed that Moneris is including liquidated damages in a fair number of their contracts, and that at least some of those cases involve non-disclosure of these terms. Hence, a fair warning to all merchants out there who are thinking of swapping over to Moneris - read the contract and all its fine print very very carefully before handing over the keys to your kingdom to them.
