Mte Financial Complete deception on payback requirements for payday loan Carson City Nevada Internet
I applied for a payday loan of 300.00. I was told the interest charge for the loan would be 90.00..thats it. I was told that if I did not want the 300.00 taken out of my checking account at least three days before it was due, they would go ahead and deduct it.
So far, I have had 2 90.00 withdrawals, and was told the opposite to the original requirements.
They now say, that I have to email them three days ahead of the due date, otherwise, they will charge me 90.00 additional interest and schedule the 300.00 for a later date.
I called the 800 number, and was told the next withdrawal would be 390.00.
A 300.00 loan cost me 570.00 in one month.
They refused to refund the extra interest and were quite adamant about my disregard of reading the terms, although, I was physically told what the terms were on the phone...sort of a bait and switch I guess.
I needed the money to feed my kids. I am recovering from cancer, had been out of full time work for over a year and really needed the money.
I learned too late that this is a huge scam and they should not be allowed to continue these practices
