I purchased a yorkie puppy from Myra many years ago and was very happy. First off, her home was spotless and and the puppies were clean and seemed very happy and frisky. I never had any health problems with him either. I would definitely purchase another puppy from Myra. (I am not a friend or family member...just a pleased consumer).

I found this complaint by accident just looking into toy Maltese because I love the breed. I noticed this complaint because I bought a Toy Maltese puppy from Ms. Myra, at her home in Ft. Lauderdale several years ago.
This is my experience;
Honestly, I was very surprised to see any complaint filed against her, because my husband and I did a tremendous amount of investigating hoping to find a REPUTABLE breeder to get a HEALTHY companion for our other Toy Maltese that I had unknowingly purchased from a puppy mill. The female puppy that I had purchased after finding her picture online, was from a website based in Miami. They flew this tiny 1lb pup to Gainesville and when my Vet saw her for her check-up the next day, it revealed a very sick pup that we were not sure would make it.
THATS WHERE MS. MYRA comes into the picture...
My sick puppy made it through and so we were trying to not repeat that mistake and started our search for a reputable breeder at the advice from my Vet.
THANK GOD I FOUND MYRA!!
We called her and explained our situation, and drove several hours to her home hoping to find the perfect HEALTHY companion for our Baby Misty. Upon arriving at her home, (which is IMMACULATE) we were first shown a little Male pup, which then I explained that I felt another Female would be the best for our baby at home.
Myra brought out a little girl, sat her down on the table briefly, brushing her hair and then handed her to me to see. Instantly that happy little pup started kissing me, and she explained that this was her pick of the litter that her Male and another breeders female had and she decided to sell her because she would not be "show quality".
Whatever that meant, she was perfectly beautiful to us. At that instant my husband told her, that's the one!"
We decided to buy her and Myra gave us some food (baked chicken) for that evening for her, as she explained she cooks chicken for all her babies. She said her goodbyes to our new pup, and we started on our long drive home with our "Ginger"...
I can tell you that this woman is a wonderful pet mother. Her home was not only clean, and no animal smell at all...but she had playpens and toys everywhere for her pups. You can tell after meeting with her how much she loves what she does. Honestly, I thank God for her and without this woman...we would never have had our precious Ginger who has been EXTREMELY HEALTHY and she is so very beautiful!
Our babies are approaching 9 this Summer...and I hope to buy more babies from Ms.Myra in the future!
I am completely in love with this breed and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MS.MYRA!!!!
Her pups are the most beautiful and most healthy that you will find.
SHE IS A REPUTABLE AND RESPONSIBLE BREEDER!!!

Many people are not formiliar with the Registration procedures of pure bred dogs.
If I own the stud (male) and someone else owns the Dam(female) when the puppies are registered the owner of the litter is always listed under the name of the owner of the female. Maybe not fair but that is regulation.
If I use my male to breed to someone elses female the normal fee for the breeding is one puppy or "pick of the Litter" as it is called. Frequently professional breeders make other arrangements, to, split the litter, or best of males or best of females. That is why I may sell a puppy which was fathered by my stud but the paper will carry the name of the owner of the female.
More information on this topic can be found on akc.org. or APRI sites.

This Person is probably a pet store owner or a PETA activist, in any case she does not know me or my reputation. I have been breeding Bichons for 22 years. My home is immaculate and I only allow a female to have four litters in her lifetime. Gosh, many people have a lot more children than that.
I am a member of several dog organizations as well as the Better Business Bureau. I encourage anyone to come to my home and meet me and my dogs and form your own opinion. I am NOT a puppy Mill or a pet store, I do my own breeding. I gladly give out the names of the Veterinarians I work with who monitor my dogs and my breedeing program. It is a shame someone can tell lies about you and remain anonymous.
If there was any truth in her accusations I challange Suzie g to come foward with her real name and tell me face to face.

I am saddened to think that someone who may own a pet store or be another breeder would stoop to making up stories and falsehoods about an excellent and careful breeder for the sake of profit. I can only say if you are looking for a small indoor dog, go there and meet her and see her dogs and formulate your own opinion. Myra Toy Puppies Hi, my name is Scott, I'm Myra's son and webmaster for her web-site. After further investigation, the woman who made this complaint a complete fraud! She is a local compeditor and is using this site and others like it to attack the competition with unfounded accusations. Her business is obviously struggling against established breeders like Myra and she is seemingly getting more desperate. Notice that at the end of her report she tries to plug her own web-site. Fortunately, it was replaced with (((Redacted))). But this is just another indication of the type of person this is... If you are interested in a loving healthy puppy raised by a woman who has made this her passion for almost 30 years, you need to call Myra. Spend 1 minute on the phone with her and you will know what I mean. Thank you.
