If you are reading this, you've been burned too.

I bought a 2 month trial subscription via best buy. it cost $25 dollars.

The set up process to accept napster songs requires that you re-format your mp3 player, losing all your songs unless they are backed up on your computer.

Four requests via e-mail for support were ignored except one response in techno babble which said "start all over".

There was an additional billing charge for songs burned to CD.

There was no availabilty of beatles songs.

The directions for use were quite confusing. There were technical glitches in which the mp3 player wasn't recognized as being plugged in, resulted in many stuck in loop scenarios. Eventually, i couldn't download songs to the mp3 anymore. After this the mp3 player was totally un-useable.

I had to hire a tech support person from another company (geek squad) to fix the mp3 player as it un-useable after the napster software was installed.

When I attempted to cancel napster online, you can find a cancellation form, I then followed leads to a dead end loop forcing you to call on the phone. Those hours are limited to 9a-9p. When I called there was a 30 minute wait. the subsequent call took about a 10 mins on hold. pathetic.

My subscription after my trial period of 2 months was

then converted to full member and my credit card charged @ $15 month automatically.

In short, deceptive advertising, very poor service with follow up, hiddens costs for burning cd's, difficult and numerous technical snafu's. Napster shame on you. Your company totally disappointed me. Cclean up your act !
