In 2007 i payed for a auto-renewing subscription for nation voice's ventrilo servers.
I cancelled my subscription by phone 3 days prior to my renew date as i did not want to pay for the service though the summer as it would not be used again untill fall.
I was then told i could view the account cancellation online and would recieve a confirmation e-mail. i never recieved a confirmation mail. Durring on the last day of my previous subscription period (3 months of servcie i believe) i checked online to see if it was properly cancelled and it seemed it was not. So i then cancelled it through the website and finally recieved a confirmation e-mail.
They continued my subscription anyway and charged my credit card for another 3 months. When I wrote to them to request a refund they stated that i had cancelled a few hours too late (I believe because i did it after 5pm). I called customer service complaining that i called to cancel days before and if my money cannot be refunded can i just get credit for when i do re-activate my account.. I got hung-up on twice.
I then decided to use e-mail as i would have records for this.. after back and forth complaining they finally agreed to open a dispute so that an account manager could resolve the issue. This is the message I got in my e-mail the next day...

I then waited and got no responce... i e-mailed them asking what was going on... no responce. I called and was told i had to contact customer support via e-mail because it was in dispute and I should recieve a conclusion to my dispute by e-mail.
Nothing.. wrote a few more times... starting writing only once a month.. then just once a year. It is now Dec. 2009 and I have not recieved a single responce from them since Aug. 2007.
They still charged my credit card for 3 months which i am unable to use because my account is still in dispute and my credit card company at the time would not dispute it because I had paid the bill which means i accepted the charges.
Long story short i paid for services i never recieved and the company just ignores me. I do not recommend this comany to anyone purely because of the lack of communication and failure to care about customer concerns from their customer support.
I have been happily using a server with another company for years since this occurence and NationVoice.com will never see another cent from me.
