My brother was casualty of the poorly loaded truck traveling on the freeway in front of him when an aparatus fell off the truck and caused my brother's rear tire to blow-out traveling at a high speed. The operater got out of the truck and asked if he was ok. My brother was shaken and said the driver spoke little english. Did not offer to help change the tire or send a service truck. It was a snow storm.
The truck driver failed to remove the object even after my brother told him he should do do 3 times. Only after another vehicle hit the object and had an accident, did the driver go and retrieve the item. My brother's car did not operate as before due to the sudden braking, skidding and tire blowout. My brother made an effort to contact National Interstate Insurance Co. to get remuneration. He spoke initially with Bernadette Kukula.
It was almost 3 weeks later when Bernadette phoned wanting to speak with my brother. She was quite rude and acted very agitated when I asked a few questions regarding the company and their responsibility. When I asked for an 800 number she hung up on me after a 4 minute phone call. I will be phoning the company myself tommorow morning and want a straight answer from the president
