I called the number on the pop-up I received, which claimed I had a Windows Virus on my MacBook Pro. I am very tech savvy so instantly knew this was a scam. I called the number on the pop up, 1-888-981-9709, and got a rep named Taya. She tried to gain access to my computer through Logmein.com, which I pretented to do, but I knew that if I gave her access to my computer it could be devastating. She claimed they were Apple and Microsoft Certified Partners. I asked why I received a Windows Virus on my Mac, and she claimed there are several Windows applications on Mac, which is BS. So I finally asked her, "How much do you make an hour to scam people?" She laughed and hung up on me. I have video of the event here at https://www.facebook.com/iPhoneiRepair/videos/vb.253532984697166/1115727435144379/?type=2&theater¬if_t=like¬if_id=1459881698490766

Hello Hugh Jassel,
My name is Angelica and I am the Administrator here at NSS. I appologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. However, in our entire history of employees, we never had a Taya employed here. I think you may have us confused with another company. We have had reports of indian based tech companies using our information as a front for their illegal businesses. We are simply a software reseller and we are partnered with other companies that develop top notch security software. I can assure you we do not hang up on our customers or laugh at them or compromise anyone's online security with pop ups and malicous acts. We do not scam, we strive for everyone of our customers to be satisfied. If you can provide further details on this I would like to get to the bottom of this company illegally using our name. Thank you and again I do appologize for the inconvenience Sir.
