NationWide Disc Nation Wide Disc, NationWideDisc.com defective product, refusal to refund, refusal to remake bad product, horrible customer service, horrible graphics employees Richland Hills, Texas
Worst experience Ive ever had with a CD reproduction company. From start to finish. If you dont like throwing your money out the window, avoid this company.
Synopsis: Company kept screwing up my artwork, eventually gave me a correct proof, then delivered a completely screwed up product, and refused to remake them or refund my money.
Full Story: I originally had 200 copies of my product printed up by this company. Surprisingly, they were of decent quality, and the artwork and colors were correct.
After selling out of the 200, I ordered 1000 of the same product. This is where it gets fun. After sending them the correct artwork, the customer service rep kept sending me screwed up proofs. First the images were squashed, then the colors were completely wrong, then the image sizes were changed, etc. We went through 3 or 4 rounds of this before I demanded to speak to someone else. I was handed to another service rep who finally resolved the artwork issue after showing him what was originally sent, and what their employee did to the images. This process took several weeks, and this is just for them to get the artwork set up properly for printing. Which makes even less sense when you think that I sent them the artwork photo ready, in their templates.
When the product was delivered, I opened one of the boxes to find that they had completely screwed up the colors in the artwork, and that the packaging was the cheapest, flimsiest piece of garbage I had ever touched. The glue was coming off as I opened the package, and the flaps of the cardboard were coming apart, threatening to fall apart completely as I opened it. You would never find packaging this horrible on a commercial store shelf. I called to inform them of their horrible screw-up, and ask that they replace the product, as there was no way I could charge people to buy CDs that look this horrible. I couldnt even GIVE them away in good conscience, because it would make me look like a joke.
The guy told me, Read our terms of service. We cannot guarantee ink colors will be correct, and we cannot match colors from another company. I replied that the colors they had to match were THEIR OWN, as they were the ones who made the previous order of 200, and had used the correct colors. They refused to do anything about it. I mailed them one of the few copies I kept from the previous order for comparison, and they didnt even acknowledge receipt of it, let alone that they screwed up. (I know they received it, as I purchased delivery confirmation.)
After this, I filed reports with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney Generals offices. Nationwide Disc still refused to remake the product or refund me, regardless of the fact that they were getting this negative mark printed on their BBB and AG reports.
At this point, I decided to take legal action. However, my state does not allow me to sue an out of state company in my local small claims court. This meant I would have to file and travel to Texas just to get justice. I have not done this as of today, as I simply do not have the money to spend on travel. So, what were dealing with here is a company that can feel free to rip people off and feel no repercussion, as they dont think that anyone will spend the money on travel to sue them. So, they get to keep all of my money, and I get a worthless box of garbage that I cant use. I had to pay another company to make the discs, as well.
