This is a fraud they are using Enbridge name and an energy saving program to make their story- Don't be fooled.
A guy called and said we are calling you on behalf of enbridge gas and the energy saving program. you might be illegible for a free Furnace and AC if your furnace is older than 7 years.
They send a guy for the assessment and he did his calculations and make me sign the contract. he did some calculations and assessment and said that you are eligible for the program. I asked him several times how much this will cost me and he said nothing as your saving will cover the cost.
I agreed and they came and replace my furnace and AC.
My next Enbridge bill was 320$ I called to find out why, they said because Viva is charging you 180$ and I did not know who is Viva financial. I called nationwide to see if they know Viva financial and the answer came (yes, they are our financial company) I asked about the 180$ what is it for and they said this is your monthly payment for the next 10 years or you can pay 21000$.
talked to Enbridge again and asked about my 650$ they said you have to fit under the program and when I looked I realized that the program required change of windows or insulation for the walls. so I do not fall under the program category.
the whole thing is a big lie

Not yet but I am still trying I hired a lawyer now, please report this to Ontario consumer protection board. There are certain steps that you need to follow and they will assist you. Those people are terrible and they need punishment. If you want to join me to submit our papers to the same lawyer let me know please Thanks
